I had to stop building my KITT due to other financial obligations. ☹ Although, in saying that, there are 2 issues coming in your next stage that I'd still like to get and that is issues 45 and 46, the commlink watch. As a display piece by itself it will be really nice, always wanted one. Luckily enough, there are people selling issues of this build on eBay, so getting those 2 issues shouldn't be too difficult.
Just a thought, wire "C" may have been labelled "A" accidentally because until the other cables arrive, the scanner and battery box are the only electric parts - so with the scanner being "A", they just went "and the cable it plugs into has to be A as well" 🤣 Anyway I've broken the switch cable on my battery box so I'm weighing up Chloe's and Mike's mods, in the meantime asked Fanhome for another box. Only my third breakage over eight packs, I call that a win 🤣
Hey, I "think" FanHome are finally making this available here in North America, the USA to be more specific, and Los Angeles to zero in! Have yet to receive Pack 1. To be honest, the actual show with Hasselhoff was exceedingly silly, to me, BUT? MY mother's 2nd husband was a retired LA cop, and worked this show in the employ of the studio when on location shoots. And paid handsomely. He also worked on 'Baywatch' and 'Back to the Future', etc. So, he has passed, but I will build this for my mum.
Deagostini Collectibles are relaunching both their1:4scale Valentino Rossi,s M1+their1:8th scale Ford GT40 with magazine instructions for each issue. Because both of those only had online PDF instructions only when they both came out about2or3yrs ago
Hi wayne when you visited the airfield did you noticed the optical illusion on all 4 propellers when they started them up although they are spinning in one direction they seem to slow down then spin in the other direction
That illusion only shows on camera. It is due to the frame rate of the camera being slower than the propellers rpm. I have loads of footage of my friend and I doing aerobatics displays in aeroplanes that show the same effect though we didn't see it with our naked eyes.
I'm browsing the site for the model, I'm a bit confused. Do they send you 4 packs every time and are each of them priced separately? Do you pay for 4 packs or is each pack paid for separately? I'm looking at the price for each stage and it seems quite a lot for the small amount each package contains.
Wayne question, I'm currently 10 kits in and so far have needed three replacement kits, the hood arrived all scuffed up, and the dash all scratched. Then kit 10 was missing some parts. To their credit fanhome immediately sent replacement kits with out any questions. But I wanted to know how often do you find parts missing? I'm in the USA by the way. Also wanted to add absolutely love the channel. I originally found you for the enterprise D build, but switched to KITT after watching your videos. Super helpful information
I'd rather models like the Ecto 1 and the BTTF car witch have full frames in them then cars built like this witch rely on a two laird floor to support them.

L done mine a week ago and it was a quick build. but good to see the electrics going in
Of course, it would be GM screws to hold the brackets on a Pontiac. You wouldn't use Ford screws.

4 stages per pack and you pay for each stage so each pack is roughly £40
Should any lights are scanner work at this stage, or not until the watch is built?
You test the scanner right at the start of the build

I haven’t really had missing parts. Scuffs don’t worry me as I use a turtle Wax colour to buff it up to a perfect shine

They aren’t the best at communication. I contacted them here in America and they took down the phone number and don’t respond to emails.
I know it's not as impressive as this but I just picked up a hot wheels knight 2000 KITT, in super pursuit mode.
My battery cable is labelled "c" they must have put the wrong label on yours.
