    • @kimmi4242
      @kimmi4242 Год назад +13

@@chuckchan4127 it's not possible to do it from sheathed. The trick is to guard first and then roll into uppercut. You can make it smooth enough to make it look like you're doing the uppercut from sheathed 😁

@@kimmi4242 yup, another one is backstep from sheathed into p-rush. actually unsheathing with guard and backstepping off of the guard.

Try this one. Guard, dodge roll, slingshot aim, switch to slingshot type, fire, perfect rush. This will cancel the animation of the slingshot aim. There is almost no speed speed loss, because this go so fast with the perfect rush jump, that you can spam this none stop as long you have slinger ammo. I rarely see people using this, you don't have to get close to the monster first and then back-hop. You just dodge roll, fire slinger ammo, jump into perfect rush

Yoooo dude bringing up shit i've never thought about. Genius.
SnS is so damn versatile that i always zone out in fights and just let things happen, lol.
I still have a long way to go with it. SnS isn't my main weapon and the transition from gen 4 and World feels especially jarring with so much more stuff.
    Good vid tbh.

Yeah Monster Hunter is a crazy game and you only get to know the deeper ins and outs of certain weapons by playing them over a long time.
Knowing a weapon and mastering it are totally different things. That's part of why it's so replayable.

awesome! I never saw someone else use the "reverse' PR before ( one of the techniques left for next video) . I noticed It was possible one day by accident and tried it's in and outs. It can even be performed back to back but it only works with a forward roll if you have performed any attack.
I didn't know about the forward slash recovery, that's nice to know!

How about the max dps route ti use on downed monsters:
    Back step>
Perfect rush (up to punch attack)>
    Roll>
    Back step>
    Perfect rush full combo
Other tips are infinite round slash cheese attack triangle + circle while moving left stick in circular motion slowly.

The amount of depth behind draw attacks ALONE is so unbelievable. I honestly never registered the fact that they also negate movement penalties as well. Niw I understand why I sometimes see you spam Advancing Slash in the Hoarfrost.
Are there any cases where you want to avoid using it, though?
