@@voss9842 You see it in other clips too, where the retaliation puts the injured player at even more risk. Like the one where two people nearly cut the injured player's throat with their skates, just to get a hit on the other guy. It's gotta be think first, proper revenge later.

That first clip is basically Drew Remenda being salty the Sharks fired him. McDavid tripped over his own skates while trying to avoid a collision. Hertl averages less than 20 PIMs per year, he isn't a dirty player.
Drew Remenda is the biggest homer. The Oilers broadcasts are virtually unwatchable because of how retarded their broadcasters are.
Every player dirty or not can make a dirty play, that being said I agree that the "Hertl play" was not dirty at all.

that sundqvist hit looked unintentional. it looks like he attempted to poke the puck past and then squeeze between the goalie and the boards, but gibson leaned into the boards, presumably trying to protect the puck and got in front of sundqvists intended path.
yeah he put his hand on gibsons back too, as if to say “i’m sorry” but then got tackled by 2 ducks

Joe Skinner they normally don’t get suspended if they are in a fight. The two in the fight get 5 minute penalties. There are exceptions though
If you drop your gloves then the refs won’t stop you from fighting until it’s over. But I’m not sure either but if the fight is getting too violent like kicking then they’ll get suspended but a normal punch would give them time in the penalty box.

Yes if it's a normal fight it is 5 minutes in the box for both players then after those 5 minutes are served they can play the rest of the game
Usually players aren’t suspended when they fight but they always get five minute major penalties. They don’t get ejected or misconducts usually either. Refs won’t stop the fight until it gets too intense or the players go to the ice

@@warzone_clips_streams1221 but you can't call a penalty (or in this case a game misconduct) based on how annoying a player is. Brad Marchand licks people and only gets 2, if that.
I can't remember if this was the Flames game where they simply ended the period early so they could settle the penalties etc during the intermission, or if this was just because Tkachuk got a fighting major and there was only 11 seconds left in the period so they just sent him to the Dressing Room to let him cool off instead of potentially allowing a fight at the end of the period. It was one of those two reasons.

Is it just me or does anyone else feel like no other team is as dedicated to sticking up for teammates as the Winnipeg Jets. Boston being a close second maybe. Both aren’t even my team but constantly I see and think the same thing about Winnipeg and personally love it.
Tkachuk only likes to fight when the other guy is already fighting someone else or while they're being held. Makes me laugh when people say Florida got tougher, no Calgary got tougher.
