Yes I completely agree with you, I am from Indore, we visit rajasthan, maharashtra, gujrat, goa, tamilnadu, and UK in vacation but never think to visit places in our state. If we themselves don't think to visit places of MP why the other state people will show intrest to visit mp. If local and outsider both start visiting different places of MP automatically development will start flourish ing, because mo has many beautiful' places, govt should work on that department.

I will agree cities like Indore and bhopal are booming but rest of mp is left behind there is lack of industrial setup in the rest of mp as its tribal and remote with lack of connectivity and lack of expressways
But aadarsh I would like to correct you forests are not a burden it's the heritage of madhya pradesh those forests are the reason we are the tiger state the leopard state the wolf state of india they contain a lot of flora and fauna but the main thing they do is that they provide and hold water for the state for harsh dry summers without them I am sure this state would be drought prone as mp doesn't have rainy western ghats or perennial rivers like maharashtra and UP

Economic progress isn't everything for a state. It is good to know MP has the largest forest cover and maximum no of national parks. Mediocrity is not bad. The economic growth comes at a cost, most often at the cost of mental health.

I am a happy citizen of Vidisha (Madhya Pradesh).
I believe there are two aspects to development that need to be considered. As shown in this video, we are below the national average in terms of urbanization, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Many people in Madhya Pradesh prefer living peacefully in their villages, where they have everything they need to survive.
It's important for others to understand that MP plays a crucial role in providing food security to India. What's the point of industrial growth if we don't have food to eat? In a war like scenario where other countries impose sanctions on us, imagine the situation without MP’s agricultural contribution.
We value living in harmony with nature, and we don’t want a concrete jungle. Our forests, less traffic, more greenery, the sacred Narmada river, and the Mahakal temple are all part of our peaceful way of life. While tribal populations are declining in other parts of India, in MP, they are thriving without discrimination-this is what true humanity looks like.
If we want to boost the state's GDP, the central government should consider removing export bans on agricultural commodities. For example, the MSP of wheat in 2024 is ₹2,125. Imagine how much the price could increase if we were allowed to export wheat freely.
Of course, there are challenges, but we have a strong foundation in MP. We have peace, we have food, and we are building on that.

• we know primary sector is not as profitable as secondary and tertiary so think of the way when mp has its own raw material and produce secondary product via its own industries
This will also produce employment in mp
• City like Indore can be a great place for tech hub of mp since again tertiary sector has maximum profit among other sectors.
And at last I don't think you will disagree about three point
1. Education. Only 2 college with nrif ranking under 100. Sometimes look at gov school. They are giving in the name of education
2. Medical. Look at infant mortality rate
3. Infra. Mp has one of the least dense road connectivity among cities

The problem of madhya pradesh, lengthy process to get licence for any business , in mp for licence average time is 6-7 months where other state like Gujarat you can get licence in one day so we have to inherit this oneday process.
And other that mp have worst roads because of corruption many politicians and officers eats money from budget and because of worst road transportation problem is occurred.
Bhopal have no infrastructure like Bangalore/Hyderabad/noida. Bhopal can become a hitch city if all the big companies come here. There are many talented students here for the IT industry.

Now we at Malwa are ready for IT companies and industries. malwa region already have 4 industrial areas and just need some more connectivity options. we are ready for industry and it companies keeping our bird sanctuaries intact.

2- Higher corruption on local government jobs.

The main problem which impedes growth of madhya pradesh is poor educational system because education is the one and only weapon which can fight and overcome all the problems .
Don't just focus on it and manufacturing sector, place more emphasis on agritech as well. Increase the agriculture output and export it. Mp has huge potential in that regards.

There are no significant manufacturing industries in Madhya Pradesh. Although the agriculture output is high, there are no food processing or agro-based industries. The state has limited IT and no finance sector. Madhya Pradesh does not have any cities in the top 10 cities of India in the automotive, pharmacy, electronics, defense, Textile, IT, or finance sectors. Additionally, Madhya Pradesh has not been among the top 10 states receiving foreign direct investments (FDIs) in the last 10-15 years. Another reason of All major industries avoid operating in MP due to political interference.

There are major reason behind the development of MP.. MP could not develop as it should because in farming there are lack of water supply by govt through small channels to the near villages.. I live in Gwalior nearby my city there are numerous of farmers who have facing this issue that govt does not provide water on time,, but in actual the channels are filled with water in papers but actually water is diverted to other locations because of corruption it will harm the farmers, now coming to next topics MP state do not focus on districts wisely if you look MP budget or financial accounting you may find state provide funds to the development of Indore, Bhopal and now to ujjain also... But they do not diversify these funds to different states and sectors.... Which debalances the states development rate.. MP state also have very slow speed of developing infrastructure as metro projects, flyover and state highways.. Poor transportation connectivity between production houses textile areas and districts...
And later on the biggest reason is education standard..... I pray that govt focus on these things and make state development growth fast
