Hey GW36! 3 pressing questions: 1) When ships are in port...they can only be attacked by air units and/or land units (no sea units)? 2) What advantages do you get by putting those ships on Escort Duty. 3) While not at war yet, what advantages do you get by having aircraft on CAP or MAP?

      1) If naval units are in port, they cannot be attacked by enemy naval units. However, they can be attacked by aircraft conducting a port attack. In addition, they are vulnerable to strategic bombing of the naval facility. If the naval facility is damaged, up to 3 ships can move out of port, but the rest are trapped until the damage is repaired. If the land zone is captured, there is a 25% chance the ships will be captured. 2) I am guessing Hambone will declare war on me as Germany and try to convoy raid me. If he convoy raids me in a sea zone that has units on convoy escort duty, then it's harder for him to do damage to me and there is a chance the escorts will hit his submarines. 3) When France surrenders, any French aircraft on MAP that are adjacent to a British land zone will automatically become Free French!
