These are literally my two favorite od pedals!!! SD is always first in my signal chain it’s buffer is great, and the ts mini comes right after it! 👍🏽
Charles T. That’s awesome! Yeah I really like both pedals too.
I have both, each are special in their own right
I have both. Both have their points. I kept the SD1 on my board.
Im buying the sd1 in a few weeks, hope sounds well with my tele!!
victor padilla Cool! It’s a great pedal.
SD-1 and TS-mini are good pedals. Thanks for sharing :)
For sure!
J'ai acheté la mini ibanez. Lorsque je coupe le son de la pédale je n'ai plus de son. Pouvez-vous m'aider à savoir pourquoi..
Merci
to me these to pedal do a job. they stack really well into dist pedals or dist channels on amps. I could never understand why you would use one on its own into a clean channel as they drastically change the tone by sucking too much low end and introducing too much mids. there should be internal trim pots to adjust the mids and lows to your rig.
Thanks for the feedback!
TS mini for me. I had both the SD1 and SD1W and ditched them both.
Alexander The TS mini is a great pedal!
Ty Caskey Def is. I use it to push a dirty channel and a Spark Clean Boost to push a clean channel
I find with the SD-1 that it has a limited span of usable tone. Not that uncommon with boss pedals like the DS-1 or the BD-2 ;, I have the BD2 ,, only usefull with gain below noon and the tone knob never higher than 11 o'clock (humbuckers) or between 9 and 10 oclock (single coils). The BD2 lacks midrange for higher gain sounds. The SD1 cuts to much lower mids compared to the Tubescreamer when the tone knob is set at noon,, and if you dial the tone knob down to 1o oclock it definately lacks treble for a good classic overdrive sound. Netiher of these pedals works well as a stand alone overdrive sound on a clean amp.. They works better as boosting an allready overdriven amp or full-range overdrive pedal (such as a boss bd2)
I run a Mini into a DS-1@@tycaskey
Hey bro what guitar were you using and what pickup was it on?
I was using my Nash T-63 with Lollar pickups.
Ty Caskey awesome thanks!
The Boss is fatter and warmer. Oddly it is even cheaper at the moment, $50.00 USD to the
ts at $80.00 USD
Paul Ewing The SD-1 is definitely a great pedal to have!

Your sd1 made in ?
Honestly I'm not sure. I bought it from a local guitar center a long time ago.
Greath +1, please give me the riff tab at minute 5....please!!!
I wish they’d make a mini version. Cosmetics shouldn’t matter, but Boss pedals in general look old and clunky to me.
That would definitely be cool
