When Charlie just gives up on his lie and defeatedly says "I'm a janitor at a bar," I read her expression as being sympathetic towards him because he's obviously trying really hard to impress her and he's nervous as hell. That, coupled with the fact that she DIDN'T immediately bail after "full-on rapist" says to me that the date may have actually gone okay had Mac and Dennis not stepped in to "help." Keep in mind that all of this is AFTER seeing his dating profile with the horrible picture and incomprehensible answers.
Your last sentence makes me feel terrible for the lady. Hope she's doing ok maybe she can do a quick appearance on the show to confirm she didn't blow her brains out after this date.
