Laura's an excellent actress. All the women who've played Carly have brought something different and special to the role with the exception of Jennifer Branson. Laura's almost an amalgamation of Sarah Joy's and Tamaura's versions. That said, I've hated Carly from day 1. She can be interesting at times but she's a hypocritical cruel wretch of a person. What drove the nail in the coffin officially was when she said the horrible taunting things essentially making fun of Robin's HIV in the middle of the Metro Court in front of Patrick, God, and everyone. THAT is foul

Annoyed her is a bit of an understatement considering the times shes stopped him seeing them inculde michaels shooting, michael killing claudia thinking Sonny had killed Jax. He's not a great father but then she sux to so what are going do.
If Sonny cared about his kids he wouldn't constantly put them in dangerous situations. Carly is right he's going to get one of his kids killed one of these days. Oh but wait don't forget Morgan is dead because of Sonny's mobster lifestyle. When you have as many enemies as he does mistakes happen. He'll always have the potential collateral damage just around the corner because of who he is. Somebody tries to take him out but oops. Michael was shot she was done until she wasn't, Michael went to jail she was done until she wasn't, she used Sonny to push Jax out of Josslyns life, Jax who's real crime was being a better parent and a real custody threat almost died she was done until she wasn't, but most unforgivable in my eyes Morgan died she was done until she went back and had another child with him. I'd love Josslyn to find this all out and turn full on Sonny and Carly.
