Man this video has me dreaming, I just bought a G37 and even stock it’s fun but always want more power. Not many videos with the Stillen SC kit, it’s looking very attractive after watching this, it’s a little cheaper than a good turbo kit from what I’ve seen

Whats your advice on starter acceleration mods i got the 2009 37x hr engine. I want a bit more snappy acceleration. I was thinking cold air intakes and possibly exhaust thats not too loud at idle but aggressive. Def dont want highway drone noise
You don't need any of those. I recommend Changing your main pulley to aluminum. You will feel a night and a difference🤙

My car is not all wheel drive my engine came out of a qx50 all-wheel drive and I had to convert it back to rear wheel drive

@@aymaanrehman2598 there are many things you have to keep an eye out for drive it around. Pay attention to how the transmission shifts. Do a 3rd to 4th gear pull full throttle. So that you can see how the powerband feels. Make sure the oil is good. Also you will need to know exactly what kind of oil and when he changed the oils. On the transmission differentials and engine. Ask him what kind of tune he's on and who tuned it. what size injectors and fuel pump is he running and if he's running a fuel return system. Also check the turbo if he is running a coupler delete or air-to-air set up.you're buying someone else's project there is going to be a lot to it that you're going to have to learn about. But I can help you with that.I built my car from scratch all by myself so if there's any other questions or anything you need to know feel free to ask. 🤙

Active off now but I will start posting more on my channel. yes make sure you check all those things and also look around the blower and the front of the engine if there are any leaks. 87 k miles should still be in good condition. I have friends that have been running 15 to 25 k miles with no problem.

I’d be very interested to know if you have the level 10 trans upgrade, I’m hoping it ends up being slightly faster shifting than that, nearly a full second between the physical movement of the gear knob and the engagement of the next gear
In this video it's my original transmission. In my newer videos I have a detailed video on the VR transmission. Way better and cheaper than level 10

@@thedavecave833 because the VR transmission comes with more clutches and bigger torque converter and already upgraded valve body. However level 10 does upgrade the VR transmission.
I have a 2012 xs coupe. What was the hp limit for the stock 7at transmission set up? Did you have to upgrade it at all?
My transmission just started acting up. After 7 months. At first my car was doing 450 to the wheels. Then 520whp. my transmission had over 130k miles so I was actually just waiting for it to go. I have a new transmission coming in tom. I will be putting a VR transmission into my G37. It is a lot beefier with 12 extra clutches upgraded valve body and triple-disc torque converter. You should be good at around 450 wheel horsepower with your stock transmission. But it is eventually going to go out depending on how you drive it. Oil coolers are a must if you boost 🤙

About 530whp im only taking a wild guess. Car hasn't been on the dyno. Its remote tuned

@@ijustbezay my G37 is a 2009 with a 2017 QX50 engine. 2013 and up is your best bet! That's when Nissan upgraded the galley gasket
I have a g37 sedan and I'm planning on getting this supercharger kit as well but I'm kind of concerned about how much the engine and trans on these cars can hold up? Any advice?
The engine can handle 600 wheel horsepower easily depending on your tuner your transmission would have to be swapped out to a VR transmission if you are automatic but if you are stick shift you shouldn't have any problems

Yes it is a very reliable set up depending on your tuner. You want to focus on your drivetrain first before you go for power. I am in the process of installing a VR transmission because the V Q transmission SUCKS!

When I push it I never drive it in automatic or DS. ALWAYS ON M. You don't want to drive it on automatic or DS because the transmission does not squeeze the clutches enough. . You do not want to glaze or slip your clutches.

Yes when you are in manual mode the transmission squeezes the clutches harder than normal mode. NF you want more of an aggressive shift you should be tuned

I've done everything except built the block. I was at 520whp with old vq transmission. Now that I have VR transmission. My tuner said I could be close to 600whp. Idk yet till I hurt on the dyno

I got this confused myself in the past ProCharger is a brand of supercharger. I don't get that winding noise because it is a turbo that is built driven so it has a spool to it

@@SuperSaiyanNaruto2 yes. Because these engines come out of a suv. In my honest opinion I feel like they are not as abused like a car. Also you can find them with very little miles.. and they are typically cheaper because it's not common for people to use an AWD engine. I always buy these AWD engine and yo be honest they have alot more power. Maybe it's because they are so young. 2017..

My Q50 does the same thing when pushing hard. .. right rear tire gets bald first . Open differential.

Yes you are correct! This is actually a Vlsd but basically an open diff once the grease inside or oil inside heats up! I ended up putting a Quaife 1 way helical LSD. Made a night a day difference🤙

yes everything is stopped the only thing I did around the transmission is oil coolers one piece driveshaft polyurethane mounts and changed the oil every 6 to 8 months

If not you will most likely grenade the trans (I did with less power) do asap and save the headache
