oh wow thank you so very much. I have been struggling and watching all kinds of videos and was about to quit trying until i ran across your video. wow so much easier than the other videos.
Is the backward option a paid feature? I followed your video but the backward button isnt lit up when I go to it so I can not click on it Thanks so much for the video!
No it is not a paid function. I really don't know why it would not allow you to undo edit. Maybe someone more familiar with Canva reading this may be able to help. Thanks for watching.
omggggg you have saved my life with this video. I have watched so many videos and have been so confused. Thank you for sharing this and giving such awesome step by steps.
Do not let Canva place the background image automatically for you. You have to physically place it and stretch it out for the background. Thanks for watching!
very good video but i wonder why it wont work for me i am doing ever step you show but for me it gose back and i just see the white tumblers do i have to subscribe to canva ?
OMG...I cannot believe how easy this was! Thank you so much..you are wonderful! I thought this would be the hardest thing ever to figure out until I came across this video!!
Sorry I really do not know what would cause that. Maybe someone with more Canva experience will see this and answer it for you. Or maybe you could ask in one of the Facebook Groups. Thanks for watching.
What a great video for showing the steps needed to creat a Tumbler Mock-up. Your video was the easiest out there to follow. I can’t wait to see more wonderful teaching videos like this for other Sublimation products.Thank You very much !
I love this technique and its looks so easy when you do it. I followed the same steps and when I send my image backwards it goes behind the tumblers but does wrap around each tumbler. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks so much!!!
Make sure your image does not SNAP to the back but remains within the border and then stretch it out to the size you need and then move it to the back. If you let it go to the back on its on you cannot adjust it. I know it is hard to explain but Canva will take a image and automatically make it the back image if you don't move it correctly.
I am having the same problem. Making sure I dont snap the mockup. It still goes to the back. It wont wrap on tumbler. Am I suppose to use specific images and mockups?
@@SnazzyMoonDesigns yes I went back and noticed 2 downloads with it one said w effect so I tried it and download and it came out right. Thank you so much for replying back . Awesome
Most mockups are not printed out. They are used in Facebook, Etsy, Instagram etc, to show what your design would look like on a tumbler. Thanks for watching!
If you let Canva automatically place your background image for you, you will not be able to move it or adjust it. You have to manually place your background and then stretch it out. Don't let Canva do it for you! Thanks for watching!
Im currently trying this for my tumblers and i noticed when i try to use the backward button it doesnt allow me to. Ive tried everything and restarted so many times. Any advise?
I have been trying to do this for over 6 months. every video I watched and attempted to work along with just didn't work. I was so frustrated. Your video popped up and I followed along and it worked perfectly!! This video is AMAZING!!! Thank you so much. 🥰
You are awesome the last person confused me so much I was frustrated and about to give up then I accidentally hit next vid and you popped up and I had it done in less than 5 minutes!! 😊. Ty so much!!
Do not let Canva automatically place your image as a background. Manually place the image and expand it to the size of the background then you will be able to move it backwards.
Thank you so much for this video. You have done this and made it so easier and this is the best video I have seen that explains from the beginning to the end. Definitely got a subscriber
Thank you so much 😊 your video was exactly what I needed to know, you spoke loud and clear and walked through the entire process wonderfully. I liked your added tips as well!
I must be doing something wrong I followed the steps but when i select backward the pic dont do nothing just goes behind and just the blank tumblers are showing
That is what I do not like about Canva. It will take you image and automatically place it in the background. You don't want to let it do this;. Try to place it in your work area and stretch it out by dragging the corners. Do not let Canva automatically grab and place it because if it does you cannot edit it.
If canva automatically selects your background it will not let you place anything behind it. Try not let that happen. Place your background image in the work area and then resize it.
Try right clicking or clicking while holding down the ctrl key and then select detach image from background in the menu that pops up. You'll need to make sure the mockup image has a little bit of a white border around it on the page (or at least a little white space on the top/bottom or sides of the image like in this video). Canva automatically attaches the image to the background if it takes up the full page. Then you can't send other images backward. It's kind of a pain that it automatically attaches images to the background. If you're going to put the image on a website where the website background is black or another color other than white, you can change the color of the page background in Canva. (Click on an empty spot on the page and then you'll see a little color square to the left of the word animate at the top of the screen. You can click on that color square to change the page background color).
At the beginning of my video I explain how not to let the mockup design be used as a background picture. It will not let you move your design to the back if that happens.
Hello Deanna, I was experiencing the same issue; however, I did not have the correct file. Make sure your mockup is Canva compatible. Ideal Mockups on Etsy have the perfect file.
I have been playing around with this program trying to do a mock up on a cup, I followed your tutorial but I keep getting white lines around my image on my cup and I do have the pro. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You
The background image has been placed automatically by Canva and now you cannot click back behind it. When you select a background image do not let Canva place it. You must size and place it manually then you will be able to move images behind it.
Which image are you moving backwards? Your design or the mockup image? Do not let Canva snap the image to the back because it will not be editable if that happens.
Does the mockup have to be a purchased one? Canva has some tumbler mockups in the "elements" which I am trying to use while using your tutorial but my design disappears every time I click backward. I am first manually sizing the mockup and then clicking on the design but that still is not working. Any advice?
Make sure you do not let Canva automaticaly place your background design you have to manually place it. I think I covered this in the video. Thanks for watching!
Make sure you apply your template first and dont send it to back because it will lock in and you cannot place your design behind it. Stretch your template out to the size you want. don't send it to the back. Send your design to the back.
Don't let Canva automatically move your design to the back. If it does then you cannot edit it. You must manually size it and move to the back. That is why I like Affinity Designer. So much easier to use than Canva!
If your Mockup design locks in to the background automatically by Canva you cannot move anything back behind it. Make sure you manually size your mockup design and don't let Canva do it for you.
