Billy Garland is a very interesting man. I'm so grateful to GOD that he was able to get to know his son. Even if it was brief. It happened. I'm 49 years old and have NEVER seen/met my Father. So this is heartwarming watching him detail his relationship with his child. And, Mr. Interviewer, that was a good segue after noticing that Mr. Garland's mind went right to that last conversation. You didn't allow his thoughts about himself to get dark. Nor linger in that moment. Now, thats professional interviewing in my book.

This is exactly why Pac and his stepfather Dr. Mutulu Shakur came up with the acronym T.H.U.G. L.I.F.E. in the first place. The Hurt U Give Little Infants F**ks Everybody was meant to be a bridge between those who were locked up because of the Black Solidarity Movement and the children they couldn't be there for during the 70's, 80's and 90's that ended up gang banging or homeless.
Too bad he got too caught up on the wrong side of it. Especially when he was so close to actually achieving that before the whole molestation of the buttocks case.
He was starting ODG records. He still had his Digital connection, Ray Luv, Spice 1, E-40, Mac Mall, Richie Rich, Ant Banks, B-Legit, Too Short and his other connections in the Bay. He was going to sign Shock G's crew from Shock's time growing up in Queens (Big Stretch, Majesty and E. Money Bags aka Live Squad) He was just starting to sign and put on his own West Coast artists out of gratitude to the West Coast for putting him on, as well as Above The Law, Ice T, Cypress Hill, The South Central Cartel, Boo Yeah Tribe. Ice Cube, Eazy E, Tone Loc, Yo-Yo, Warren G, Nate Dogg, Coolio, E-A-Ski, Marvelous and his other connections to LA. He was going to have his own teenage group out of Jersey (Dramacydal/The Outlawz) Naughty By Nature and his other connections to New Jersey. He was still going to have Biggie, Puffy and Cease screaming Thug Life, Onyx, Big Daddy Kane, Eric B. Nice N' Smooth, Freddie Foxx, Mic Geronimo, Kool G Rap, Melle Mel, Queen Latifah and his other connections in NYC. He already had the Geto Boyz/Scarface, J. Prince, Devon The Dude, TLC, Anthony Hamilton, The Dungeon Family, Jayo Felony, Master P and his other connections in the South.
That case doesn't happen, the T.H.U.G. L.I.F.E. movement might have spread throughout Hip Hop nation wide.
