Koga's gym in Fuschia City is pretty annoying until you realize that the corners of the invisible walls can be seen, although then it becomes a little hard on the eyes.
I actually enjoyed the honeycomb gym, I love the sound it made when you push through. I also love the spider web “chutes and ladders” in the second iteration as well
See I loved the honeycomb, i loved how it looked and felt (since it took a while to push through) and i feel like it properly represented why a BUG gym in a big city (buzzing and busy and thousands working together to make it work!) also I thought the spider chutes and ladders were creepy af and now the clowns look totally out of place! (and they took away Burgh's art! a huge part of his character is that he's an artist!)
I get that waiting for the roller coasters can be annoying but Crasher Wake’s puzzle was too close to the Ocarina of Time’s Water Temple for my liking lol
Kabu’s gym is interesting too. A Pokémon catching competition where you and another character are trying to catch the same Pokémon and can even attack them to increase your chances is interesting
Honestly the worst gym of all time is probably fantina’s math quiz gym. its just painfully easy as well as insulting to assume everyone playing would have any issue solving it. And the last thing I would associate with ghosts is math. Oooooh the scariest thing of all time, MATH!
It is nice to see a video that I haven't seen someone else to cover. As for best final gym. I could see that being the gym that made a lot of people mad. It wasn't super hard but wasn't simple either. I mean since people are convinced Pokemon is too easy.

I'm glad you agree on the Anistar Gym! I love that place, it blew my mind as a kid when the walls floated away. Also, Stow-on-Side's teacups. Need I say more?
Viola’s gym is better than Ilima’s… cave imo. All the trials in Alola have the same problem of linearity as the rest of the region. Except Mallow, her trial is great
I completely agree. The trials also take place in super small areas and use a more sidequest/minigame formula, whiel the gyms take place in maze like structure and are more similar to dungeons/temple in other RPGs. I also don't like that the gyms using in game features get unfair advantages, especially since they aren't well exploited at all, especially the shalour gym, it's easily the worst kalos gym, it's fine but it basically have you running in the circle and the roller blades could have had so much more potential. The ghost trial is also really unfun, short and linear.
Kalos' Gyms all having cool features and puzzles makes me even more upset that they decided to not do an improved version. Let a little more difficulty (like the Elite Four, 8th GL, and Champion not being complete pushovers) and this would give Hoenn a run for my favorite region.
Kalos shoulda given every gym a mega starting with after you get a mega lucario. It wasn't that bad. You just have to check a bunch of lined up items, and when you get a match, you have at worst a 1 in 4 chance (or as good as 1 in 2 if you're lucky) of hitting the correct second switch.
