A fast (but not exact) way to convert from JP Yen to USD... remove 2 zeroes... so 100Y=1usd (really rough but fast way to convert) for the sake of measuring costs while watching anime... it used to be WAAAAy more accurate since 1 USD used to be worth almost exactly that but the Yen depreciated a bit and nowadays it is around 1usd =150Y but for the sake of anime just remove 2 zeroes and call it a day...

Then again, I think that was like 3 yrs ago lol.
