- So here are ten vintage commercials from the 1950s. Now they all should be from the 50s, but keep in mind not all of these had the exact date on them so my apologizes for any mistakes made.
Our channel does not own anything, except for this compilation video itself. As always, thanks for watching! Кино
“Coke (caffeine + sugar) = Wholesome energy” lol
Caffeine and cocain 💀 wHoLeSoMe EnErGy
Yeah, also weight gain and dental cavities.
That's how I take my coffee, lol
Don't forget the Cocaine it had, originally, that's why it was Coca-Cola...
The original formula of Coke had cocaine in it. I wonder if that’s considered wholesome or pure 🧐
6:39 "Kathy only needed two fillings, and (blblbl) needed one." This is "fewer" cavities, after using Crest.
Well, all of that Coke and Kool-Aid rotted their tooth out.
**inhales burning cigarette
"Throat Refreshed"
I remember Kool Aid, Brylcreem, dad used it, Maxwell House, Wilkins Coffee, and the early Muppets, and my favourite, Nestle Quik.. The dog!!! Idrank a boatload of both chocolate and strawberry Quik as a kid, still love the stuff.
Kool-Aide has the parents magazine seal. Just add a pound of sugar to each packet. Coca Cola, pure energy (esp when it had cocaine in it). That and a pack of Kool menthols will have you breathing wheezy. Ah the 50’s. This was an awesome montage. Thx to whoever uploaded the video🙏🏻
I'm glad you weren't being facetious 😉
The fact that this video has no dislikes really shows people's appreciation for both the 50's and 60's.
I agree 3 years and 0 dislikes
It's self-parodying, no wonder it has no dislikes. 😆
Television. Nick Jr pfp
That Nestle Quik commercial is disturbing AF
I found this channel yesterday and I’m hooked !
Thank you for the upload. Really nice to see all these.
You're very welcome! And as always, any suggestions for videos we should do are warmly welcomed!
Note that Kool Aid was pronounced as two words.
ferociousgumby Come again????
@@sabrinadubois5822 Most people run them together as one word.
Brings back great memories!!!
I came here just for the Wilkins Coffee ads lol
Yeah! Early Jim Henson!
They should make s horror movie about that crazed Muppet & his unnatural love for Wilkins Coffee. 🤭
As a child I was fascinated by the pointy chests my much older cousins had like the woman in the Coke ad.
Lol.
Yeah my mom told me not to stare or I could poke an eye out. Or at least not stand too close.

The Nestle Quick add features Paul Winchell a well known ventriloquist in the 50’s and 60’s. His two dummies were Jerry Mahoney and Knucklehead Smiff. My brothers and I would watch the Paul Winchell and Jerry Mahoney show every morning before school in early 60’s. Creepy looking dummies. But we loved em. Jerry was the nice guy but Knucklehead was the rowdy dumb troublemaker.
I met his sister, Rita, camping in Seaside OR quite a few years back.
Sorry, but that was Jimmy Nelson who was also a ventriloquist whose dummies were named Danny O'Day (the kid) & Farful (the dog).
In the 1970's beside Nescafe we had also Maxwell.
The first one was long ass hellll !!
People really had longer attention spans back then eh
🐍🐍
Because just what you want after coming in from freezing your ass off ice skating is an ice cold drink, bwahahaha
The chocolate milk commercial was creepy as hell by today’s standards.
Critter87 it was? What am I missing?
Oh Come On!
Grimace pfp
It’s the dummy 😮
Hey, I notice all the nasty comments about the food but no one is saying a thing about Kool cigarettes tasting like a breath of fresh air. Snow Fresh, your mouth feels clean and your throat refreshed Quick where is the shovel emoji? LOL
My throat is hella refreshed from smoking
Why is everything from this time period a musical? 😂
@Greytruth: Because it was the era of phony "Miss Goodie Two Shoes".. Also the "Brylcreen" commercial is so dumb; Were men that stupid back in the day? He has to put that grease crap on his hair so that a woman can accept him..; pathetic! Who cares what she likes! Men and women should wear things because they like it and give them good feelings for themselves, not for other people's approval/acceptance !! Thank god we've moved the needle half an inch since those 1950's days.
I think they used music because the ad stays in your memory more easily. I can remember ads like these even today.
psychological entrainment
I made the mistake of smoking..SMOKING KOOLS...i was 20 when i began, im almost 69...my lungs are ruined...i only walk if i have to, i cough ip pflem 24 hrs. A day...sometimes itd soo bad i almost have a convolusion...catchin a breath...dangerous...i hope i have a few years left
Smoke kools, its like a breath of fresh air.
Error detected. It's not that.
I hope that you last longer than you think you might. Coughing up mucus and phlegm is a sign your lungs can still hock it up. Otherwise you'd drown in snot in a few hours. That's how much lung snot we produce, I've heard that lungs run through two Quarts(!) of phlegm in twenty four hours. Yeah Quarts. If that stopped working you would follow in very short order. Also its the menthol chemicals that are the really bad players. And you can drown in less than one pint. Live long and prosper.
@@darrellcook8253 i should buy stock in kleenex tissue..easily go thru a box of 100 daily.
There are 140 ingredients in cigarettes. Most products are tested one ingredient at time. Cigarettes were never tested that way. To this day we still don't know, or care, what the harmful ingredient is. True fact.
Since when are facts false?
I often wonder if Pablo Escobar grew up drinking coke.
They played the 50s commercial during the whole 60s😅
I remember when a coke was only a Nickle..
Rip.
I remember when candy would be handed out free. Darn security cameras.
And how old are if you remember coke for a nickel
I wonder how many people in these cigarette ads died of cancer
6:10 What did I just watch?
Early Jim Henson.
Old weird tv commercials that poisoned our minds wit dangerous products.
I wanna leave back in the 50s I wish I could go back life was so much simpler
