Based on the meters on the display, while you were recording the levels seemed to be too high (even though you were speaking in a very quiet voice). This could cause a distorted recording, especially if someone was speaking louder, etc. How do you solve this problem? (No way to tell since you didn't discuss audio quality at all.)

I am planning to buy a new digital voice recorder and my only sole purpose is to get the best sound quality while recording lectures delivered at university's big halls with a lot of speakers and echo in the hall. Can you please give us your opinion about it if you ever used to record lectures with this device. Thanks a lot.

It is definitely a DM-650. Just look at the video at 5:24 position. You can read it just above the screen!!

yes but how do you change the battery. mines run out and idk what screw
are there recorders that can playback in higher speeds? also, I assume all recorders have a regular jack input so you can plug in earbuds.
Digital ones do. Tape ones don't. And the DM-650 can play back at whatever speed you want.
