Welcome to our channel! We are located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest (PNW)! We are in the middle of our journey to create a beautiful Japanese maple garden and develop bonsai trees for everyone to enjoy. Our garden is under construction but we hope to open it up to public in the near future! Follow us if you love Japanese maples and want to know what's happening in our garden! In this channel, we focus on walking thru our Japanese maple bonsai garden throughout all seasons, discussing how to prune Japanese maples, how to air layer Japanese maples, how to propagate Japanese maples and how to take care of them including pruning, fertilizing, etc.

Great video. Hope you have an awesome growing season and no crazy heat waves this year.
No more 115F!! 😊
Please make that video of how you air layer all these! Can't wait!
Will do! Feel free to check out other air layering videos I made last year! :)
Can't wait to do m first air layering this spring. I have a Sango kaku tree and I'm wondering is it ok to do multiple air layerings on the trunk going all the way up the tree? Thanks can't wait to see the air layering video
It will be fun :) I think it's possible to do multiple air layers on the same branch but I will recommend setting only one for each branch for higher chance of success. Check out the existing air layering videos on my channel while I make a new one soon! :)
@@MomijiEn sounds good thanks! I will try one air layer on the trunk and another on a branch and see what happens.thanks for the input.
@@Chris-oq6kn 👍or air layer all branches first then trunk the next year :)
have you ever layered an Arakawa?
No I haven't. I will try one this year!
Hello, I have an acer shirasawanum aureum and I love him! it needs to be reported. What substrate would you suggest to me? Thanks a lot! Really enjoy your videos. Keep it up.
Thanks! I love aureum too!! There are many options but I personally like to use a mix of bark and pumice for nursery stock / young material and a mix of Akadama and pumice in a ceramic pot.
@@MomijiEn Got it! Thank you very much.
Hello can you please confirm you can Air Layer cork bark maples?
I have not done it myself but I have some rough bark maples grown from air layering so I think it's possible!
Do you sell cuttings or seedlings ? I’d like to buy some from you please
Yes but local only in greater Seattle area.
