Making and Tasting FIRE CIDER for FIRST TIME. I hope it’s worth it

  • This year my wife and children have battled much more sickness than usual. Out of desperation I opted to try the fire cider trend. Seeing a ton of various recipes, I opted to use:
Oranges, lemons, rosemary, jalapeño, red onion, ginger, garlic, peppercorn and turmeric. We cut up all the ingredients, packed in a glass jar and filled with Apple Cider Vinegar (with the mother). We then stored it in a cool dark cabinet for one month, shaking it every day or two. The taste of it was quite interesting. Either way, I hope it’s worth it in the end. We hope you enjoy watching. We thank you for taking the time to watch as well. #firecider #naturalmedicine #tastetest

After battling Psoriasis for years, I discovered the power of quality food and its positive impact on my skin condition. This sparked my desire to raise my own quality food. So come along with our Family as we transition from urban living to small self sustaining family farm. Learn from both our successes and failures in hopes it may inspire others to try new things. We entered into this journey with no prior experience and hope to provide many laughs and learning experiences. We learned most of how to do what were doing from watching others and hope to be able to provide a similar learning opportunity to anyone else who may benefit from this. Thank you for coming along with us on this journey and we hope it is enjoyable for you and your family.

Haha I wouldn’t go that far. People swear by it. How the regular ACV has worked for me, I’d assume this would too

Haha, glad you found it fun. It was a fun little video to make. I’m slowly getting used to it. I’ve actually drank it several times since as has my wife. Hope you’ve been doing well.

Could you freeze it in ice cube trays, then keep the cubes in a ziplock in the freezer and use when needed?

      🤔 I hadn’t thought of that. I’ll need to research. I don’t see why you couldn’t.

Idk lol I think I'll stick to the chew-able vitamin C tablets. I use to do a lemon drink cleanser for 2 or 3 weeks. I think I've done it twice. Master Cleanser I think its called.

I’ve doubled down this year. I have the vitamin c powder drink mix and I drink it at work each morning then hit the ACV in the evening. I’m guessing it’s working because I’ve faired well. I’ve forced myself to drink it the last 3 days and the taste isn’t bothering me much now but the smell is still what gets me.

Stan, I would follow your lead in several different areas but I'm not sure on this one! I have done the apple cider vinegar shots as well as a turmeric juice for my auto immune disease and there are days when those just don't taste that good and so with your initial reaction to this drink I think I'm going to pass. Thanks for showing it to us though! Little Man is growing up. As always, stay safe my friend.

I respect that. I was thinking you were my ride or die now I gotta reconsider 😂. Just kidding, but maybe I can keep playing with recipes and find something that’s more tolerable. For me I think it’s the heavy garlic.

😆 nothing wrong with that. I have drank it now 3 days in a row. I feel the taste is better or I’m getting used to it. The smell is what still weirds me out.
