This game is pretty smooth running on a quest 2 playing wirelessly using my pc. But the exploits are there. I couldn’t imagine using the PlayStation Wands to play this
Nice to hear it runs good on the Quest 2. It's really to bad about the exploits. It took a lot of the fun out of the game seeing everyone running around maxed gear so quickly and still wanting to door glitch on Masters difficulty.
and it still won't stop having issues. game brought me to burst in anger today cuz it crashed 5 times at random times for me. sometimes mid fight, mid boss fight we already collected red floppy disks after the 5th crash i closed the game in anger on my ps5 and never touched it sinse.
It's insane they haven't fixed these issues even on the PS5. It sucks because this game could be so much better if they put a bit more work into it. It's a dead game to me after losing a few red disk as well to crashes. I don't blame you not wanting to play it after that many crashes..
@@EveryDayRetroGaming Absolutely. And do you know what's so demotivating about it? It's not that the game crashes sometimes, but that you never know when it will crash and you'll lose all your loot because you always start a level with this gut feeling that the game could crash at any moment. soooooo much potential wasted.
VR is really starting to get to a point that it can do some amazing things. We just need the developers to take the time to make their games truly great!

@@EveryDayRetroGaming I've had very few issues with the quest 2 version, but a couple of crashes on the pc-vr version, very rare I've had issues though, more often than not quite smooth. The issues are - rare occasion of flicker or lag and occasional lost internet connection on quest 2, pc-vr it's crashed twice out of many plays, again very occasionally lag and stutter, I'm using the rift-s more at the moment, and loving it, but going back to the rift-s from quest 2 I was like ahhhhh now I see the screen door effect for a while. 🤣🤣🤣 I guess some issues stem from updates being downloaded during gameplay, I think I'll disable that sometime, but like I say issues are rare for me, but it may be worth someone trying it of it's happening a lot. End of the day everyone's internet setup and the number of games installed etc are different so I suppose experiences will vary from player to player. Hope those having problems find a solution though.
Dude I can’t even fucking play it. I’m in for like 7-10 minutes then boom. My game freezes. It happens all the time, it is so annoying because none of my progress saves. The second I get a cool ass gun, game crashes and it doesn’t save them. Wtf do I do?
I haven't even touched it after the review. I knew they put out a patch, at least on PlayStation, but I've lost all interest in the game. It's to bad it had some cool things about it. No idea how to fix the crashes. On PlayStation there wasn't anything I could do about them.
More often than not the lobby is empty when I play, at around 5a.m. so not too surprised. Absolutely loving this game, playing solo with bots, just need to complete the final mission, for some reason I always mess up just as there is one glowy spot left on the third smasher attack. I'll get it eventually, if the re2/3/7/8 vr mods stop distracting me, still need to try the doom 2016 and eternal mods yet grrrrrr it's just so wonderful, need more days in the week. 🤣🤣🤣 Playing on rift-s and sometimes quest 2. It's a good time for vr at the moment, a very good time.
It's a shame that the exploits and crashes(on PSVR)ruined the harder difficulties. I love how the game plays and shooting feels so good. I saw some Dev responses on reddit and even though they aren't talking much at least we'll see some updates soon. I'd love for some new guns! I'll have to do a 2 month later re-review or something if patches come out.
@@EveryDayRetroGaming oddly enough I played on the quest 2 last night (during the final relay tower arena, I'm sure fate doesn't want me to complete it 🤣) and it froze up, hope an update comes soon, a patch was supposed to be release for the buying rockets bug, not got that yet. Ah well let's hope for the best. Now the Devs are back at work maybe we'll see something soon.
What do you think of After the Fall? Even with more content will this save the game? How many duplicate Red cards have you gotten?

I prefer 2 hands, sometimes tracking messes up, it corrects itself very quickly tho

Great review! I haven't played any VR games, but I've been really interested in it.
VR is really starting to get to a point that it can do some amazing things. We just need the developers to take the time to make their games truly great!

Oculus Quest 2 standalone. Smooth and superb.
I've heard a lot of people on Reddit complain about crashes with the Quest. Maybe it's the luck of the draw.

I’ve been playing on quest 2 on virtual desk top . Game plays super smooth and I’ve had zero issues .
I'm hoping they fix the issues for PlayStation VR. It really is a good game. I just hate how buggy they left it for PS users.
