They provide all the tools - you just need to bring food, water, sunscreen, gloves, sunglasses and a hat is helpful, and a can-do attitude!
There is a port-o-potty at the quarry.

My travel/rockhound bucket list just got longer. So many nice fossils
As always you are a fantastic teacher of knowledge! I love Intarsia the only type I have ever known is with wood and to see it with stones is amazing! The different patterns and colors with stones has to be endless! Thank you for sharing such a wonderful piece of history! Great machine and congrats on acquiring that piece of history!
Those are so incredibke to think how well they are preservred❤wow
Thanks for checking in, Kyle.
Great stuff Kyle.... it's great seeing you back in the field again...
Looks like fun!! 🥰🥰🥰 We approve!
Great Job on finding those Kyle. Can't wait to see what you do with them.
What a great adventure.
Fun adventure. 😊
Great video Kyle❤💯loved watching this!
Hey! That is one great video! Next time you will be the tour guide of that place! Good job!
Looking forward to some prep videos. Thanks for sharing!
When it's an individual fish, I'm a fan of positioning them at an angle, rather than perfectly squared up in the cut pieces. It adds a subtle bit of dynamicism, like they're swimming around.
really cool little fish , looks like a lot of fun
Good video bud. That place looks nice. You found sooo many.
I so want to come see the unbelievable stuff out west
It looks like those blades/chisels are made from leaf springs, is that correct? I'm looking to make some of my own fossil collecting tools.
That looks like a great location and I will keep it in mind for a trip out there. Thank you.
@CurrentlyRockhounding they are made from leaf springs. The thinner, the better for softer stuff.
When I was at American Fossil, I was using bother their blades and the ones I bought at Fossil Safari. I used the thinner ones for the material that was smaller easier to split and the thicker blades for the thicker boulders/ tougher material.
I'm trying to keep an eye out for other fee dig quarries for next year :)
Wonder if the 💩 indicates they were covered quickly and still alive
