  • I promise that I will only be speaking French for this video! The first of my videos from France is of an elevator from a French company, in a very nice car park (compared to the ones in England!)

    I personally wouldn't call this a generic after seeing the elevators in the UK. This elevator company only didn't manufacture the buttons. Everything else was manufactured by them. Back in the UK half of the elevator are not manufactured by the companies that have their name on them, only installed by them.

    Actually one of them is the French FLOUR. Should be "quatrième étage" unless I’m being thick and this is some clever French language joke that I just don’t get. The bizarre one to Anglophones is "rez-de-chaussée" for ground floor.
