The Otis lifts when saying doors closing and doors opening sound like the same voice at the bullring shopping centre car park lifts that were Otis 2000 and now have been modernised by generic and KONE but the indicator is still there

im sad to say Manchester Airport lifts are being modernized for the second time by Kone lifts 17&18 are going for full replacement lift 18 is 3 weeks in to replacment lift 17 still still in service and 2 of the 56 person lifts are being modded not started yet and also the 80's Thyssens will be modded one is 3 weeks in to mod

and i could not find the MRL panels for the car park lifts so must be older lifts modded

shame about the mods on the Ellis & Mcdougall lifts they were hydraulic these are traction which means everything would have been ripped out
