I suggest using Gboard from Google. It is a keyboard app that Google made and it's very good. I use it on my LG v20 and it's really nice. It allows you to customize the background, change the color ETC.
All It needs is duel window screen, stylus, night vision and duel dash cam feature! Then that would be the ultimate phone! LG has the Best battery performance. Their earbuds are the greatest. A case, a second battery is all u need. I don't know why anyone would buy the most expensive over rated phones like Samsung and iPhone. Or even a heavy expensive battery charger. I got a k20 used for $280! 😍
I made the switch and I'm glad I did. I retired my note 5 after just one year. The non swappable battery made me VERY unhappy. "Fast" charging and wireless charging don't make up for having to sit next to an outlet at the gate with the Iphone people hoping you got enough juice before boarding to last the fight. With the v20 I pop the back, swap the battery and I'm back to 100% instantly. Just like I was with my Note 2. As long as Samsung thinks they have to mimic Apple I'm done.
I just got the v20. Upgraded from samsung galaxy s3. I couldn't bear to not have a removable battery as I hold onto phones for a much longer period of time than most. The battery always seems to give out 2 years or less of use. This makes all internal battery phones null and void after 2-3 years max with moderate to heavy use. Planned obsolescence at its finest. I also like the extended battery. I went through 2 extended batteries on my s3: zerolemon and anker. I am definitely going with zerolemon again soon. Much better than anker lasted at least twice as long.

Great Video, Every other video was just on specs. This helps us LGV20 Users. Especially myself that is coming from a Note 7. I Was close to returning the phone due to all my apps being on the home screen. I Felt overwhelmed with 200 apps and about 7 pages of just apps. Thanks again and keep doing your thing
I've been using UAG cases for over 3 years and they are simply the best. I've dropped every phone I've owned multiple times, NEVER cracked the screen. Look then up on Amazon and read the reviews.
Jose Aleman is been having serious battery life issues. I'm sending my phone back on warranty, hopefully the replacement V20 is better. I'll keep sending them back until I get one that the battery doesn't suck.
Jose Aleman I experienced that same feeling after I went from a S5 to a G3 back in 2015. I've been using LG phones ever since though and I'm used to them now.
welome to the battery drain glitch that android has and has done basicly nothing to fix...... One reason that id take an apple phone over an android if it wasnt for the terrible os that apple has id be on a apple. the best fix ive found for this bug is to uninstall apps that you dont use and hope n pray that it was one of the apps causing the battery drain.
The update should have fixed that by now, you can also change to energy saving mode. The best is to swipe out the battery to a 4200 Mah battery Amazon $17
OmegaWolf747 Yeah Verizon in their infinite wisdom decided to just remove that feature from the phone on their version of the V20. My AT&T V20 dose not have the stock LG music player for some reason. The sprint version is missing the stock LG gallery app. I can at least understand the reason for carrier bloatware, but I seriously cant comprehend what the purpose is of removing random features/apps. Same thing happened with the note 7. Some features/apps were removed in different carrier versions. T-Mobile I think is the only one that either dose not do this shit, or dose it the least. Verizon seems to always be the worst. Sucks that carriers still get to do stupid shit like this.
I was going to say, my T-Mobile version has everything with only a few T-Mobile bloat apps that don't even run in the background... I'm glad I'm a T-Mobile customer now, because I use Smart Settings a bunch! My phone toggles my WiFi on at home and off when I leave!
OmegaWolf747 go to the playstore download quick shortcut maker, open the app scroll to settings, open that select smart settings and create a shortcut and you'll have smart settings I have it on my v20, gives you the automatic WiFi connection among other things,
Great video! I just grabbed the V20 because T-Mobile is selling it for $469 which I think is an amazing price for this device! I can't figure out how to get the screen to stop timing out so damn fast! Even if I change the settings to never time out it still times out after about 12-15 seconds! Hi. I like your videos. I am new to my LG V20. Can you help tell me how to remove a notification stuck on the drop down screen from when I called my friend. His voice mail came on. D during my leaving a message, he called me and after awhile I thought his voicemail hung up. Wrong. After we hung up completely, the "remote" call was showing on my 1st notification screen. There is no option to swipe away. Only settings offered ate to hide notifications, etc., but I'm not sure which app or setting it's in? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I've been exploring wireless charging too. From what I've heard there are no pins to add a wireless sticker but you should be able to add the flat receiver with a usb type c connection that would sit in between the phone and a case.
Nerys I just tested that out for you and can confirm that other apps like peel can use the IR blaster just fine. As for IR recieve, I'm not sure if this is what you mean but when setting it up for my set top box I was able to add a custom button and the QuickRemote app told me to point the TV remote at the IR blaster on my V20, push the button on the real remote that I wanted my phone to learn and it worked.

After 3 LG phones failed on me, I am having second thoughts about getting another LG phone. The boot loop issues on these phones has been a problem that is not getting any coverage at all. Many users have complained about this issues and LG has yet to explain why it is happening on many of their phones. LG phones are great and I prefer it over any Samsung phones. But what good does it do if it failed after a few months of use. If LG doesn't fix this issue and their battery continue to drain fast on their phone, I will not buy another LG. It is sad because I really want this phone.
I completely agree with you! I own the G2 and the G4, i had to exchange the G4 four times and once was for bootlooping. my G2 still works perfectly and my G4 has been on it's best behavior! I really do love LG phones and prefer them over Samsung and Apple. So i will give the V20 a try when it is released next month and hope for the best, because now the phone game isn't who makes the best phone, but more of please pick your favorite poison! They all seem to be falling short these days.

It was with the motherboard on some, the other one died after the marshmallow update and the other two had, crazy do what they want screens. But i will still purchase the V20. I'm a photographer, video ographer so i need this in my life!
I just use my phone without any modification. I don't even play games or watch videos on it. Never drop my phone or submerge it in water. Always had a case on it.
Hi, can you please do a video explaining how to use the manual camera controls? Specifically the manual video camera settings. I haven't upgraded phones from the S6 Edge+ because of the the inability to root next generation Sammy's. Lack of development etc has kept me from upgrading. The Edge plus feels so much better in the hand even with the UAG case that I use on all my phones. I finally gave in because I'm really hoping to be able to catch some amazing concert footage that doesn't sound terrible. If you could do a, record an awesome I was here, concert video tutorial I would be very pleased and share it all over. Please help me get the most out of this massive brick. Don't get me wrong, there are many plus from the V20 than the +. I'm just hoping to get the most out of this so I don't feel regret when I pick up this heavy phone and look at my Samsung wireless fast charger and all my micro USB devices. :(

Same here, I love it. it's a feature rich phone that has everything I could ask for. The only thing the V20 could possibly need is maybe an AMOLED/OLED screen, that's it really.
my lgv20 h990ds does not show the LTE icon but it does show the 4g icon. the specs show band 4 witch we use in my country for 4g LTE . does anyone else have that issue or is it normal? ty

Powerful Born I believe the stock email app is missing from the sprint V20. My AT&T V20 dose not have the stock LG Music player app, and the Verizon version dose not even have that entire Smart Settings feature talked about in the video. It sucks that carriers have started doing this bullshit for whatever reason. Just removing apps/features for seemingly no reason at all, but boy they make sure the bloatware makes its way on to the phone!

I completely agree with you! I own the G2 and the G4, i had to exchange the G4 four times and once was for bootlooping. my G2 still works perfectly and my G4 has been on it's best behavior! I really do love LG phones and prefer them over Samsung and Apple. So i will give the V20 a try when it is released next month and hope for the best, because now the phone game isn't who makes the best phone, but more of please pick your favorite poison! They all seem to be falling short these days.
may i ask? are u guys heavy rooters/modders? I've had the G2, G3, and G4 and have never had boot loop issues I've heard about. btw this is my next phone
It was with the motherboard on some, the other one died after the marshmallow update and the other two had, crazy do what they want screens.
But i will still purchase the V20. I'm a photographer, video ographer so i need this in my life!
I just use my phone without any modification. I don't even play games or watch videos on it. Never drop my phone or submerge it in water. Always had a case on it.

Hi, can you please do a video explaining how to use the manual camera controls? Specifically the manual video camera settings. I haven't upgraded phones from the S6 Edge+ because of the the inability to root next generation Sammy's. Lack of development etc has kept me from upgrading. The Edge plus feels so much better in the hand even with the UAG case that I use on all my phones. I finally gave in because I'm really hoping to be able to catch some amazing concert footage that doesn't sound terrible. If you could do a, record an awesome I was here, concert video tutorial I would be very pleased and share it all over. Please help me get the most out of this massive brick. Don't get me wrong, there are many plus from the V20 than the +. I'm just hoping to get the most out of this so I don't feel regret when I pick up this heavy phone and look at my Samsung wireless fast charger and all my micro USB devices. :(

ehcf16 Nothing yet. I emailed Slickwraps customer service. They promptly responded informing me that wraps for the V20 are in the works, however there was no definitive date on when they would be available.

Same here, I love it. it's a feature rich phone that has everything I could ask for. The only thing the V20 could possibly need is maybe an AMOLED/OLED screen, that's it really.
How is your phone after a year? Did it gets image retention/screen ghosting??
Luigi Morata Yes I did, but luckily it isn't permanent. I fixed it with a night screen app, and I no longer had the problem any longer.
my lgv20 h990ds does not show the LTE icon but it does show the 4g icon. the specs show band 4 witch we use in my country for 4g LTE . does anyone else have that issue or is it normal? ty

Do you know if Gmail notification is supported in the 2nd screen. The regular email app does but for some reason Gmail is not working. Maybe a Nougat issue????
Powerful Born I believe the stock email app is missing from the sprint V20. My AT&T V20 dose not have the stock LG Music player app, and the Verizon version dose not even have that entire Smart Settings feature talked about in the video. It sucks that carriers have started doing this bullshit for whatever reason. Just removing apps/features for seemingly no reason at all, but boy they make sure the bloatware makes its way on to the phone!
