Dan I completely agree with your assessment of this statue. It took me a while to pull the trigger but I'm very happy that I did. This statue is truly special. It's a complete statue with very few flaws.
Excellent review by Dan! This is not a statue or line that fit my collection, but I found the video interesting and engaging right up to the end. I'd love to see Dan showcase more statues from his collection.

Nice job Dan. I love the Asian Themed Batman lines. I would trade all my SideShow Premium Formats to get into that line as well. The level of detail you pointed out if something I hadn't noticed until this video. So now I want them even more. So thanks for that...hahaha
How are you still liking this piece? I’m able to buy it along with the Batman shugo and redhood for a package deal $3300 Canadian for all 3. I don’t own any of the samurai line currently, but have been wanting to get into them and haven’t seen any in person. Is that a good price for them?

I truly loved the original Yakuza concept of this piece and was disappointed when XM scrapped it. Ideas are thrown out all the time but I felt the original was something truly unique for a licensed statue company and it had so much attitude and provoked “uh-oh, can we do that” controversy, which is rare from those licensed companies. So everytime I look at how this statue came out I keep thinking about what could have been. Still a great looking statue, but love doesn’t strike twice in this case.
A great review Dan massive respect to you. Amazing in-depth on the statue itself and on the myth as well. You can definitely enjoy the statue if you don’t know such details, but without a shadow of a doubt knowing it will add more meaning to the statue. I like how you approach your reviews by absorbing as much vital details as possible with regards to the statue and the overall theme. It is very rare to see that to be honest. First,Dan is very Good at reviews, not sure why He doesn't like to do them; second, I could have bought this piece for $ 850.00 shipped and passed, so I am going to be depressed for the better part of the Day !!🤔😂😂
Not gonna lie, that hair turned me off from day one. There are literally a dozen other traditional looking hairstyles that would have been so much better. Yes, the helmet would have covered most of those other hairstyles, but they would have been a better style choice regardless.
