Oh yea!!! The North Florida angler and Hook em in the mouth ready for some monster hunting....Wild shiners....lets go!! First one of the day he hooked him in the tongue.....Got him!! Boy you guys pulled out some trophies!! Awsome as always brother!! Boss Hogg!! 👍👍👍
Thanks Ryan! Make sure and check out my last two videos If you haven't already! A couple more bass videos to come and then it's off to the salt! Again thanks for watching man!
Florida's Trophy Catch Program is a great thing and has really encouraged people to release these lunker fish that might not have other wise! I personally don't care about entering any fish in it, but that's just me! Lol! Thanks for watching Wes!
Well done, guys! Way to get the skunk cleared Charles, and wow what a girl at the end. I must say, CC, you do know where the lunkers live whether fresh or salt water.
Thanks Jim! I know you don't like fresh water fishing that much but got to take care of my fresh water guys too! Will start putting out some saltwater videos starting in May! Tight lines and good fishing to ya!
Awesome fish! Just a suggestion I would not hold that big of a fish by the jaw for that long without supporting the stomach. It’s a good way to damage the fishes mouth on a bass that big.
Bill Dave.........I've been bass fishing here in central Florida since 1969, and started catching occasional trophies several years after that, all along the way, especially in the past 2 decades. I go trophy bass fishing now more than ever. As long as the fish is hanging straight down ( NOT prying the lower jaw downward like Bill Dance used to do).........holding it by the lower jaw doesn't do a thing to harm a giant bass. I've got four 12 lb'ers under my belt so far, thirteen that went 10, eight that weighed 9, and literally countless bass between 6 and 8 lbs. ( I've got the photo's & images for most of em ) I released every one of those bass totally unharmed. Simply DON'T pry downward on the lower jaw, causing major stress at the hinges of the mouth........and a giant bass will be just fine. You'll notice if allowing the fish to hang straight down & not prying down on the lower jaw, the bass's mouth isn't all the way open, so there's NO stress at the 2 hinges. Prying down on the lower jaw causes the mouth to open as far as it will go, with all of the fish's weight on it, the HINGES get stressed, and that's how an injury can occur. The lower jaw itself can handle the weight of a big bass without any problem or injury. Trust me.
I fish a lot of grass points! Under water points and visible points! I also like grass shore lines with deep drops next to them! Thanks for watching Austin and good fishing to ya!
