Probably in the same manner that Andy keeps making insufferable characters. Corazon has gotten better, I’ve not watched any of the second Blades series so can’t judge character development there. But I’ve got to admit, he plays them well.
Mostly it’s by playing the character not playing to win. Not to throw shade at the others they’re all great. But Mike and Luke RP well because they will make actions in line with their character that are detrimental to themselves or the team. Mike also plays characters that are mechanical burdens. A paladin that never paladins, an aristocrat that refuses to work. He’s often a secondary villain to the group. Andy does this to a slightly lesser extent, although is genuinely mechanically useful. I think Andy would be great at playing a villain and id like to see them play some form of PVP game where Andy is the villain, Mike à henchman, luke/Chiodini DM and the rest are the heroes. I’d really love to see Jane do this more with prudence, lean into the evil, be a little less altruistic.I think she would do really well if she did evil stuff out of site of the group and started playing up the nice staff as a “facade”. Ellen’s characters are usually “good/true neutral”, so I don’t think her characters lend themselves to creating obstacles too often. Usually it’s by refusing to do things against her principles. So it’d be cool to see Ellen make an even more principled character at some point. Ellen the paladin type thing, where the principles are more obstructive.
@@ironized I would actually love to see them do a one-off TTRPG where they've each designed someone else's character. 14:42 World record performed in the NFL is 76 yards thrown in 1993 during the Quarterback Challenge. 56:10 Irony here is that Andy's character knows "loads" about wolves, but Luke is an unreliable story teller and doesn't know "loads" about wolves himself. In the wild wolves don't have an alpha. The leader of a wolf pack is actually just the breeding pair, the rest of a wolf pack consist of off spring hence why the leaders are the breeding pair. When the offspring is ready to head off and create their own pack they do just that once they find a mate and entirely different wolf pack is formed with a new breeding pair.

I was a bit surprised that Ellen called the leadership role. Good for her. She usually lets Andy it whoever do that so that was nice to see. Plus her eye rolling at the beginning was adorable.
Anyway, I've basically just started watching this but i love seeing how you guys have branch out creating new characters playing different RPGs.
I forgot to mention Like. What can i say, he is just a really good DM rolling with the antics and creating his world for his players to explore.
Good luck with your future projects Luke. I do how you continue to drop by as a guest in future Oxventure antics.
Is that a "Don't Be a Dob" framed momento on the wall, behind them??
1:19:33 Two hands=Killian death...
This lived up to its title a lot more than I expected.
Great fun! It’s been wonderful seeing Luke getting better and better at GMing, and I can’t wait to see what indie RPG one-shot is next!
That was incredible I didn’t know how I would feel about it being Jenga based but there was some major tension during some of those pulls 🎃
Absolutely brilliant! Loved that our incredible "Greg" made it out!
This is the most intense game of Jenga I've ever witnessed
Love this. I want another episode of this one. New characters, new scenario and new horror.
Man this is such a throwback to my first TTRPG game, which was Dread. I ended up toppling the tower to save my friend's character, who was my character's twin sister. It was a lot of fun, a thunderstorm rolled over halfway through the night which really set the mood.
Totally saw the werewolf coming once I heard silver pendant.
Loved this! Didn't realize that Jenga could be so tense!
You clearly haven't played Jenga with really competitive family and friends.
This was great! Glad to see the channel is gonna have all these cool different series not just a place to put oxventure, excited for the future!
We for sure need another one of these. So tense and entertaining! Thank you!
Soe xited to see more one shots, this is extremely fun. And I allways love seeing them play different characters, they got so good at roleplaying!
Is this like the starter adventure? I feel like geek and sundry did a very similar game years ago
Luke really said "YOU CAN'T SIT WITH US!" huh xD
Honestly really nice to see others playing this game! It was one of my first real experiences of TTRPGs back in 2012/13. Looking forward to seeing what else comes from this channel!
The second time the tower fell I laughed so hard, I'm sorry but just the attempt to hold it together was amazing!
Really enjoyed this, can’t wait for the future one-shots!
Thanks so much! More to come!
