I loved Johnny’s absolute glee when they realized Ian was the other werewolf 🤣 miss the two of them in videos together 9:45 in case anyone was wondering
man my favorite parts were the setups where they'd just come up with wildest stuff for their lore...i also agree that ian must become a permanent guest as i haven't laughed this loud in a while over his very real girlfriend
I’d love to see the Oxbox peeps (and others, because you want 8-12 people) play Blood On The Clocktower. It’s like Werewolf, but with roles for everyone, and you’re still involved even if you’re dead. Prob not a livestream though.
I came here to comment this! I think it could very easily be a livestream, especially as we could have different player perspectives. Plus I think I could hook them up with a great and very popular ST 😏
Just gonna pitch Johnny and Luke as co-storytellers. Not that they can't handle the complexity, but getting some live commentary between the two would be priceless! (For proof, rewatch their planning sessions for "Watch Out!")
Luke Loves his emotional support pumpkin. Liv is being intimidated by something. Mike is disgusted. Andy is startled. Ian is scared. Ellen is concerned. Maddie is even more concerned. Johnny just looks like they are amused by everyone else's fear. I think Johnny is the werewolf.
It was a good play in case she had investigated any of the others, since then he would look innocent 😇 having asked in the first place. Except nope, totally (milk)boned. It was too funny.
Instead of the difficulty to read notepads you could number everyone's zoom name eg (0) Luke (1) Maddy (2) Mike etc then people could just hold up the number of the person they want to kill
This was a brilliant watch. That last round especially was incredible (poor Ian though, I hope he gets more opportunities to take part in the conversations if you all do this again!)
I hope y'all had a chance to take a bow. I've watched the previous runnings of Werewolf on the channel. This one - y'all set a new standard and blew the previous ones away. The sass and saltiness. The puns from Ellen, Ian, Johnny, and Mike. The banter between all of you. Y'all outdid yourselves. Absolutely well done!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 I hope y'all have plans in the future to come together for another group stream. Thank you all so much for what you do. Hugs all around. Still subscribed.
Luke: **describing Mike’s powerful werewolf jaw, arms, and legs** Liv: Oooh **fanning herself** Johnny: **dying laughing on mute** Also Andy: **pause** It was Ian, Ian was the little tool. xD Also also, I thought Ellen was gonna reach through the screen and throttle Johnny in the last round when they wouldn’t let her talk. XD
I disagree with that assessment. I felt that it was Ellen that was talking and not listening there. His point was that they have the same argument so it's really a wash.
@@MorinehtarTheBlueOh, she definitely wasn’t getting what Johnny was saying, but they were still kinda not letting her get a word in edgewise - and it was undoubtedly an attempt on Johnny’s part to keep her from pointing out anything else incriminating about them, which was what made it funny instead of infuriating. XD There was DEFINITELY nothing malicious about any of it, I apologize if it sounded like I was putting Johnny down - I wasn’t meaning to at all, I just found Ellen’s murderous expression at Johnny’s continuous talking hilarious. Ellen and Johnny and they’re both such sweethearts, I genuinely adore them both. xD (Also, just a friendly reminder - Johnny uses they/them.)
This is the only type of content on youtube that's more than hour and half long that makes me say "oh common, one more game!" before it ends. You should make more werewolf because it's funny as hell.
It still blows my mind that after Ellen successfully accused Ian of being a werewolf, that people still suspected her. If she'd been one of the werewolves, she would've accused a regular person, not another werewolf/Ian, and then the werewolves would've automatically won the game at that point.
Ian and Ellen voted together on villager Andy in the first round. It was really more damning that Johnny was the only one not to vote Ian when he got caught. But this happens in social deduction games all the time. People forget information from round to round or get stuck on hunches. It's really part of the fun with how people end up acting rather irrationally.
Having played a startling amount of werewolf in my life, one can’t underestimate pure charisma, which Johnny has. I don’t think I’m as successful as them, but I’ve talked people out of voting for me when there’s been solid proof I’m the werewolf just by confusing people.
That‘s exactly why Lolies stayed silent whenever she was the imposter during Among Us livestreams. Those were the only times she kept out of the discussion.
I'd love to see a social deduction game with both Ian and Dom from No Rolls Barred. Just an entire game of "who is the most shady MFer in the room, evidence be damned?"
Seemed like far too short a stream, had a lot of fun watching it. I poved the little bit of village lore we had going on. The star player for me had to be the one who technically did not get to play much at all but yet influnced the games the most from the small actions they did take.
The last game was just pure beautiful chaos. One would think after over an hour the crew would be knackered, but they just manage the best play ever -- from both the banter, the first morning chaos to the quick end. Chef's kiss.
Lolies probably won't be in any more streams on the channel. She left Dicebreaker last year to be a Twitch streamer and because she now doesn't have any involvement with the channels, I don't think they'll be allowed to bring her in anymore. Johnny also left Dicebreaker but he still helps with Oxventure so they have a reason for him to be in them. The other person is probably right for Jane and Wheels, and I didn't know about Aoife but they answered that too.
Poor Ian has such a suspicious face that he even got killed before playing the game. XD Also, Liv played that last round very well. She signed her testament in the process but it didn't really matter because the game was pretty much won after she revealed herself to be the seer.
Such a great stream! Tbh, Ian's energy made me wish he'd join the Oxventure for a guest appearance. His Naughty Dog pun was hilarious, I think he'd have fun w Merilwen.
I feel like Ellen is lying at 49:45 and trying to clean up her mistake, haha. When you watch her facial expressions at 40:12 as Andy explains, she definitely looks like she's thinking "Oops, I should've saved Ian." But at the end of the round she acts like she never thought Ian was the Seer. Even if he's not the Seer, she could've saved him and not doing it was a mistake.
A lot of selfish medic action in this stream. I understand why but it didn't help either Ellen or Liv when they did it. At least Ellen redeemed herself in the next round.
I feel like Luke messed up the Hunter rounds a bit. You always, always, call out for every role to do their thing at night, even if they're dead. So you call the Hunter and they pick who they would kill if they're the werewolf victim, and then you resolve it in the morning phase. Also (and this is more a personal house rule), it's better if you don't reveal if the townspeople got a werewolf or not until the final win or lose conditions are met. You ramp up the paranoia and you remove 'process of elimination' as a strategy.
My favorite part was in the last round when Johnny calmly told Ellen exactly what happened when they agreed that it had to be two of out of three possibilities, but Ellen vehemently insisted that she forced Johnny's hand. Ellen and Johnny had the exact same outward position (believing Liv and Andy) at the exact same time. If it was me, I would've suspected Ellen and Johnny in that next-to-last round because of Ellen being so insistent that it HAD to be Mike. Ellen as a werewolf attacking Johnny as a werewolf would be the perfect bluff play since, by her logic, she was saying that she knew one of them wasn't a werewolf. Therefore, I would've been reluctant to kill Mike since a wrong choice would end the game (I would have been wrong this time, obviously, but still, Ellen tends to get blinders and talks over people when she's right, but also when she's wrong or lying). Mike was trying to make the valid argument that Liv and Andy could be in cahoots, but Ellen would hear none of it, thereby, somewhat illogically, eliminating any chance of a majority vote for Liv or Andy (though, sure, they were both totally believable). Johnny read the room and was forced to agree that Liv and Andy were being honest. So in a way, I guess Ellen DID force Johnny's hand, just not in the way she thought she did. By doing what Ellen did, she's 100% protecting at least one werewolf and setting up a 50/50 guess in the next round which didn't actually help the villagers deduce anything that wasn't already obvious. And at that point it was the best chance the werewolves had. Interesting stuff.
It sucks that I wasn't able to catch this live. I really wanted to but I had to work. Ellen you're logic at the end of that last round was spot on. Superb job Ellen.
