Yeah I like enemies to lovers ONLY if it’s done in a certain way haha it’s def a tough one
The Heart's Choice sounds really interesting! I do not recall ever reading a book with a male librarian character or a court reporter. Those tropes, plus the historical library setting, research, a murder investigation, romance, and good faith content, are good reasons to add this book to my TBR.

Haha, I can still hear the pounds of salt coming out for A Thousand Heartbeats. 😜 Don’t worry we can still be friends since I’m usually the one hating on a book everyone else on the planet loves. For example I tried Porch Swing Girl but then dumped it because all the side characters were annoying me and I found it personally too preachy.

As much as it hurts my heart to say, I would have been shocked if you DID like Porch Swing Girl! It’s cute contemporary YA with no fantasy or cool action scenes. 😜
I have discovered that Tracie Peterson and Kimberley Woodhouse have some of the BEST faith content in most of their books!

How appropriate is this series?
Our daughter just turned 10 and just got into reading wich we are thrilled by, but we want to make sure everything she reads is appropriate.
We are very strict about what she can watch/ read and dont want her watching or reading anything innapropriate, anything with violence, swearing, sex, drugs, or dark themes is not allowed and the good guys have to win in the end.
We have heard some good things about keepers of the lost cities series but we arent sure if its appropriate for our daughter to read.
