Man... Mass early grunts is consistently the most powerful opening on almost all maps and in almost all situations. Those medium range lasers and capability to move on all terrain is just such a good combination.

Indeed they are. A balance patch is coming soon though increasing the speed of pawns and slowing grunts down. So It will be interesting to see how the meta is affected

@@Requiem_tv I am afraid it won't make much of a difference as the pawns will still require much more micro than grunts because of the weapon type and weapon range. Having very asymmetrical T1 units is always a double edge sword. You get much more interesting gameplay but if the skill level of the players is even a bit different the advantage becomes compounded

Yep that's true. I know the devs do want to balance it out though while still keeping them unique so we will have to wait and see

I expect Blodir to show every well in this Barcast proleague tourney but ultimately lose to someone like Raghna or Teddy with way more experience. But after that, all bets are off. I don't know if Blodir has team game experience, but his 1v1 skills with so little BAR experience is frightening.

After watching a lot of SupCom casts by Gyle I'm not surprised that Blodir is good at BAR too. Very good good SupCom player.

are units moving down hill slowed down like when they go up hill, are they unaffcted or are they sped up like what would make sense?

Just slow going up, going down they are unaffected
