EPISODE 4: "The Costume Designer" - Barbara Harvey Abbott
Barbara Harvey Abbott designed costumes for OperaSLO's 2019 production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's South Pacific, in addition to many productions by other companies here on California's beautiful Central Coast! She returns in the same capacity for our October 2022 production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Carousel. A Paso Robles resident, and graduate of Indiana University. This exciting video provides fantastic insight into the rarely explored world of costume design and Barbara's unique path making a career in this industry. Carousel performances take place at Performing Arts Center San Luis Obispo on Saturday and Sunday, October 15 and 16 - both performances at 2pm.
