People are complaining about Jeremy talking a lot but he would pick up whenever Jake started to trail off and he’s just passionate cause he relates to soo much of what Archie experienced. If you’ve watched any other interviews Jake is one of the quieter ones of the cast.
Asmilez22 and that part of Jake he brought to the character also. Showing Rock as being shy and quiet. Great portrayal.
It's kind of on-brand for their characters tbh.

This series was SO well cast!! So many lovable characters you end up rooting for almost everybody at some point. Easiest binge watch EVER!! These two did great! Don’t wanna spoil it but Archie and Rock has me on the edge of my seat in the last episode! This series definitely leaves you wanting more but in a Great way! Well done!

I think they categorized it as a limited series just to cover themselves. I think the intention was to make this an anthology series from the beginning with this particular 1940s storyline only lasting a single season. However, if the audience didn't respond well to it, they could get away with canceling it without actually "canceling."

Jess Lee I am with you! I really enjoyed this series and was a bit heartbroken because of the possibility that another season would not happen. I really wish that history was able to be rewritten. The ending in this series was everything. A true love letter to Hollywood and our country but shame on Hollywood and our country at the same time on the fact that history really could have been this way.

Ryan Murphy is just so imaginative. His ideas are so out of the realm of a normal person's thinking.
Jeremy and Jake's relationship was very relatable. I'm in a interracial relationship with my guy and I can not ever imagine going through what their characters had to. Dont get me wrong...we go through some minor things living in the Midwest but I'm so glad their characters finally said, the hell with what "Hollywood " says we are going to be our authentic selves, even if it cost us our careers in Hollywood. Kudos, to them!! Job well done!!

They are talking with each other. Jake was free to say what he wanted, Jeremy didn't cut him off or anything. He just seems to be somewhat like his character in the series, shy and a bit reserved. So, get over it. It is one thing if someone is interrupting an interviewer asking someone else questions (as you see happen sometimes on talk shows), but if two people are talking and one of the individuals chooses to be more quiet, it is simply how they wish to be.

I don't know what it is but Jake Picking (Rock Hudson) was such a great casting choice. I fell in love with his character and almost feel bad for him at times lol. Love this show.
Really great series. Actually found the gas station used in the movie. And these guys are not hard to look at either.
One of the most amazing shows on Netflix and TV in general. It made me care for the characters, I laughed with them, cried with them and finally celebrated with them. They made me feel like I was on the journey with them, and that's what I want from TV shows and movies. Thank you Netflix!

Ohhhh. Not knowing anything about the show 'Hollywood', this title was a little bit confusing. I came into this video thinking that these two were already dating
This series should have and could have been a lot better. Ryan Murphy loves pushing the. White LGBTQ agenda which is great but, why are his minority characters always so disadvantaged. Hmmm, could it be diet racism? The Camille story line was almost thoughtless and thrown in as filler and her story should have been the most compelling.
Let's put this relationship in perspective... if Jake & Jeremy had an off screen relationship (which would have been adorable)... they would still be a power couple!!!! I will definitely watch this again!!!!!

I hope Ryan Murphy continues to hire LGBT actors and build their careers as openly gay in gay roles like we get in the end of Hollywood. Instead of casting non-gay actors in leading roles, especially if they are gay characters. I'm so tired of gays not getting the roles (gay or straight) and straights getting all the big gay roles over and over and over and over and over ....

Just wondering if in their getting together to rehearse prior to acting together, did they do any lines in their underwear to get used to being naked in front of each other or did they just do that in the first scene/time they make the shot?
I love this show it was funny and exciting and Romantic it made me laugh and made me cry I guess I just one of those sensitive guys hoping for a second season

I fell in love with this relationship. I was already a massive fan of The Golden Era of movies, but even more so with this movie series. Jake is a beautiful man.
I like them as a real couple. They could have been in character here, but I like them together.
I loved the show but it's important to keep in mind the Hollywood of that era was hyper homophobic. It's a good story but that's what it is: a fictional story

I live only a few blocks from the paramount studio gate, which is where they filmed the entrance to ACE studios. So everytime I go by the entrance where they all gather for extra work in the show I get excited to go home and watch Hollywood!!

Her character wasn’t really developed enough & was a bit one dimensional. You didn’t feel as much for her as you did for all the other characters. Also I feel that perhaps a better actress should have been cast.

The initial scene with Roy and Archie scared me. I thought Roy was luring him to kill him. I was so scared. This was a really great show and I loved their relationship. I really hope this comes back for a 2nd season.

Only on episode two but I had to come find some interviews about the cast. The cinematography on this production is amazing it's truly reminding me of how great Gatsby was filmed.

I started watching the show with no background info about the cast or plot lines. I had avoided all the PR. Wow was I surprised! It was nothing like I'd expected! A terrific show, terrific performances from an inspired cast. The alternative timeline was so uplifiting. If only that had happened back then...
I really enjoyed this show a lot. I love the idea of a more progressive Hollywood history. And the acting, music and costumes were a lot of fun. Two thumbs up!
