About time they got a black girl! The original video for coarse/resistant hair, had a woman who didn't have the type one would consider course. She was a white woman! It's nice that Chi finally expanded to including black women. As a person who uses this treatment, it can make your hair healthier and stronger so one doesn't have to trim 2 inches every time they go the salon
This is a beautiful job! I have never seen the highlift color at work before so this was nice.
My only concern is that you’re not supposed to shampoo post chi Enviro up to 24 hours but you shampooed after you did the color. That’s within a few hours of the chief service.
Wouldn’t you do the color first and then the chi service? Thats what i do. the only issue is the color it will strip color out of the hair.
I’m working with putting the color under the dryer to get it to go deep enough to stay during Chi service.

I have a question. I have a relaxer in my hair since june or July can i still use this and if so which one should i use? Also is it safe for me to apply at home?

I'm shocked. I've always heard do color first. The color stripes the treatment out. And you should give the treatment at least 12 to 24 hours to settle in the hair. I always do color first. Doesn't make sense to do all that flat ironing then wet it again. I think I'll keep doing it my way and not work against Myself!!!
I have 3c4a fine hair.. which product should I use? I’m getting confused with the fine/porous ( is it for Caucasian type hair) and the virgin/coarse ( is it for type 4 hair ?)

I’m curious what her hair looks like in its natural curly state after this service. How loose will her curls be? Will the ends have heat damage? I’d love to see the after with her hair curly.
I agree, why not show curly! I use in our salon. Salon 5011. The results are BEAUTIFUL! Our clients will wear smooth for one week, then curly till next treatment.
Curls are soft, defined and manageable.

Kevin Taylor i would love to see pictures. I’m currently using Keratherapy in the salon for this. Do you know if this product contains Formaldehyde? How bad are the fumes for you the stylist? I’m always looking and open for change.

Fumes are not bad at all. NO Formaldehyde!!! That's why I like!
Been using for years! I also use Avlon Texture Release great product, but I do prefer Chi, less steps.
I keep the hair maybe 70% wet. And I process with plastic cap. They can wrap hair no problem. I prefer they not shampoo for a week. Gives it a chance to "set" in hair. Longer lasting results. Use Chi's curly line to enhance and maintain curls.

Kevin Taylor I’ll definitely look into it. I never see the finished product with the hair curly with most of these lines. I was able to see that with Keratherapy that’s why I’ve used them. It drops the curl without straightening the curl in kinky hair. I will need to research and see if I can find before and after pictures on curly hair. This is one of the cleanest products on the market. If the product is simple fruit acid and silk proteins as suggested I would imagine you can use this product. Its best to ask your doctor
Will this work for 4b/c hair? Or only type 3?

@@Merrybandoruffians Well I'm definitely 4b and I just got it done and it absolutely works! My hair feels silky and strong. It stopped my breakage dead in its tracks. My stylist said I can use this treatment to retain length and grow my hair longer if I get them every 4 months.
If I use the Chi 20 volume generator for grey hair, will this remove the silk treatment from my hair?
Dear, when you use any volume after any silk treatment on your hair this will remove the Treatment from your hair 😍
I got a kit that didn’t come with the smoothing shampoo and conditioner...do I have to wash out after 24 hours?
Not necessarily wash out the product. We recommend not to wash the hair at least 24 hours after the treatment so the treatment can work in the hair

Without doing the color.. Is there an estimated amount of time to leave the treatment in your hair once you have blown and flat ironed? Is it 24 to 48 hours?
72 hours but if left longer you get better results
Once you put the the treatment in do you wash it out before you place the color?

Can I wash my hair right after finishing ?
Hi Eman. No. This treatment is designed to not to wash after you apply it. Wait at least 24 hours after the application to wash the hair. we also recommend wash the hair only previously with the CHI Enviro shampoo and conditioner.

@@FaroukSystemsInc if you can’t wash your hair within 24hrs, how was she able to do a color service that required washing after the treatment? And using a 10volume still lifts the cuticle, so wouldn’t that negate doing the keratin treatment as it is meant to seal the cuticle? This literally makes no sense.
