E-Flite SU-30 Twin 70mm EDF BNF Maiden Flight

- The E-Flite SU-30 is a cool looking jet to begin with, but after our maiden flight we have fallen in love with this jet. It does amazing in the air. The twin 70mm EDFs give it all the power it needs to do just about any maneuver you want it to do. It flew nice and gentle for us even in the wind we had, which made us a bit nervous for a maiden.

Your definitely going to love that jet. It will fly the longest on a 6000 mah turnigy graphene panther 75c pack roughly 5 mins

Well to be honest since I got burned by the 459 dollar p51 since retracts have not been available since it's introduction and after much work installed motion RC spitfire retracts I decided NOT to get this jet nor the f18
They had a good hornet from FM's but they also didn't stock parts
This is inexcusable I only buy radio gear from HH now

Nice flight Wes. The jet is a nice one. Eflite usually are. Buttttttt....... I would like to see a comparison with the FreeWing model of this plane. They seem to be around the same size, in every way. I know it's been out awhile but that thrust vectoring it has I think just puts it on a higher level of performance. I have wanted one for ever so I might be a little bias. AirHammer out!!

Right? I fly in 20 mph crosswinds so 10 down the pipe is ideal 👌 PS - Go as far aft as possible on the cg guys... It loves it

Have you ever not liked any of these aircraft? Or are you sponsored? I can't believe that all these airplanes are that great! Having flow different manufacturers, and different types of ARF's. There is no way! That they are all, (great airplanes!) let's be honest. Not all are great! And some really suck! Once again, be honest. If every airplane you test and fly is great? You haven't flown enough. Or are getting paid! Having been in the hobby for over 40yrs. I have built, and flown some really bad, and really good model airplanes. So, once again? Why is everything you test so good?
Not true at all. And no I’m not sponsored but if been flying for a vary long time. That being said I know how to fly most people buying jets these days don’t know how to fly them so when they crash land them they blame the plane for crap retract or whatever. Also most planes that suck I don’t review. There’s a reason you don’t see much hobbyking or bangood crap here
I also love the hobby and love flying planes my goal is to fly all of them. That being said if you wanted to know if I would buy one plane vs another I’d tell you why
What was you CGX with the 6000 RC Jetwerx battery? CG says from 115 to 150 and mine balanced at 150 with the battery all the way to the front.
I was about 1 inch off the back fire wall I like the cg further back on this model but yes it has a wide cg range
Merry Boozer RC Cool review!! So what CG mark did you use for yours? I know with the bigger battery you have to move it back more.

Yep I’ve got 3 flights on it now and haven’t had any problems flys great not the fastest jet but great high Alpha and easy to land. Anyway keep checking back more to come😉

Probably just going to have short flights and you might need to add some Weight to the front to cg it

@@MerryBoozerRC I got an HRB 5000 mah for my Eflite F16 but just couldn't get it back enough to get the CG back to 90mm. Had to send it back. Really wanted to use it but... but safe than broken. :-).
The more I look at this SU30 the more I like it. Only downside...getting it, the F16 and Eflite Spitfire 1.2mm in my car...lol.
It kinda amazes me it flies with the air brake deployed. Well... lands deployed. I can see slowing it down and using as a brake after landing but in flight...crazy.
