I think the reason so many of us like this is because Mongolian throat music is such a traditional and almost primal form of song is that it heavily resonates with our heritage.
hear nothing like it in north amercia
I saw an interview, where the guy responsible for the music in the game said he played the Hu for the Corporate people, worrying about how they would receive the idea. Within moments of hitting play, the whole group was nodding their heads in time to the music and he knew he had a winner.
Just look at Jace as he nods along, I guess that itself is priceless.
This is freaking awesome!
Lovin this world tour
Interesting
You need to check out The Hu song of women ft Lzzy Hale
Your channel is introducing me to some of the best music I’ve ever heard. Thank you very much.
I recognize this song - my husband & children play this game! It’s always caught my attention because if it’s haunting sound and ROCKING riffs! Great review! (PS - I’ve loved watching your Patreon list grow! Keep up the great work! \m/
Damn Mongols are cool af
They've been cool for the last 1000 years
If you liked this one you would love "The Great Chinggis Khaan" by The Hu as well.
All I can say is: "I love, love, LOVE The Hu!"
I enjoyed all your Pentatonix etc. reactions but the fact you reacted to THE HU!!! is what made me subscribe 😁
🤘 HU 🤘 HU 🤘 HU 🤘 HU 🤘 HU 🤘 HU 🤘 HU
Thanks for the Reaction and thanks to Zachary for requesting this song. More The Hu please!
I had the opportunity to see them live before covid hit and, all I can say is it was out of this world amazing. I ended up loosing my voice during their concert. Their presence is phenomenal you have to check them out in person if you get the chance.
I almost got to see them. The lockdowns kicked in 3 weeks before the show… hope for a new chance.
Yep! Seen them twice in Stockholm. They are even better live.🤩😎😎
These guys are very different. I'm a fan. Great reaction.
This is amazing !!!! This music makes my blood boils!
We're getting a heavy dose of "unusual" this week...and it's GREAT!
"Not only are the ambassadors Jedi knights, they are also emissaries of the Great Khan. They bear a Gereg."
"Well, that rules out killing them..."
I absolutely loooooove throat singing :D. And your first reaction when one of the guys put a few fingers in his mouth and made that one sound there, that fluoing sound thing. Awesome
He is playing what some reason is called a Jew's harp or jaw harp, mouth harp witch is more logical. I bet it is difficult, but its not just his fingers. I really love them, been lucky enough to se them twice in Stockhom and they are even better alive.
Great song and video! Also, love the shirt. My fiance went to NC State
The moment I started playing this game and my boy Cal was listening to this in his headphones, I knew I was going to love him. lol
I would kill to hear this in concert
Love your reaction ❤️
They only speak Mongolian during the last part saying: Black lightning from eternal sky
A hard working week with 14 hour days is finished and I finaly got time again to watch some reaction Videos to find new and good music :)
Great reaction again mate!
Love the Hu. Thanks for sharing. 👍
By the way, can you react to the song "Ohne dich" by Rammstein from Germany? Would like to see your reaction on that song.
They are absolutely awesome and this video is Epic check out all their videos.
Fun fact they aren't singing in mongolian, its a made up language because come on it's Star Wars! Hahaha
The music if fantastic!! But is was so much more fun to watch you. It was like the music were sucking you into the video. LOL!!
Have you seen Yuve Yuve Yu?
Just saying, you haven’t seen ANYTHING when it comes to Avi Kaplan until you’ve listened to Love Again....
I don't know what I just heard, but it makes me want to pick up my light saber (that I wish I had) and fight for justice, or goodness, or whatever! So intense, and I loved your reaction!
You really should check out Leo Moracchioli, he has so many awesome metalcovers of todays music, like despacito, dance monkey, dark horse, somebody i used to know, etc. He is a silly and not so.. serious guy but he has damn good talent for remaking stuff into metal.
Jacoby Shaddix from PAPA ROACH joins the HU in doing Wolf Totem

Funny I saved this one today to listen to tonight and your alert popped up. Love The Hu. Keep the videos coming.
8:45 Better than Wolf Totem? 😳…..though I respect other people’s opinion…… OH HELL NO.
Wolf Totem is part of an ACTUAL 12th Century Mongolian “poem” written by one of Chinggis Khaan’s sons , that the Hu took parts of and put to music.
I would suggest watching Home Free’s version of Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire” which features Avi Kaplan
Now THAT is a great idea... using it as an alarm! It's time to change mine up anyway. Hmm..
Hope you get around to also checkout Versailles - Faith and decision ( m.ruclips.net/video/AdhfE6ITfoQ/видео.html ).
A all male metal band from Japan, with a unique sound.
But the closest comparison to other bands would be Nightwish or Epica.
Hy Jase N Yo Face i hawe a request for you... It 's a Swedisch band called Sabaton, and the song is Fields of Verdun.
I hope you see this coment and you will react to the song.
Just from watching the progression of your videos, your lists of Patreon supporters has grown so fast! That just speaks to how awesome you are and how great your channel is - and it also speaks to how awesome your Patreon supporters are!
I've heard a couple more "traditional" songs (i guess you can call them that) from Mongolia so I know Mongolia has some amazing artists, but I've never heard of this band until today. Will definitely have to check out more of their stuff, I absolutely love their sound!
They are all classically trained musicians. One was a music professor at the music conservatory, one a composer.. each is a star🌟🌟🌟🌟
Love the Hu yea!!!
I liked your reaction mate. Thank you
That poing sound is a mouth harp
Loved the video. The Hu is really awesome.
A reccomendation i would like to see fullfilled is Patty gurdy as band. For the song i would reccomend The Longing (make sure it is Patty Gurdies channel not Storm Seeker who made a version of the song aswell and she is a member of Storm Seeker aswell.)
I recognize this band..
Gotta keep asking for Black is the Color of my True Love's Hair by Avi and Peter Hollens, it needs to be done!

I liked it! I'd never heard of The Hu, but this one of theirs was shared in our work chat music channel the other day and it was a kick ass intro to them -
