📍 Sliema, Malta | On the Worker's Day (1st May) I went strolling through the St.Julians/Sliema Promenade with my friend Malcolm in aid of Hospice Malta which is an non-profit organization that has been established in 1989.
The walk started in Spinola bay and ended in Ta' Xbiex.

I stayed at the Astor Hotel --almost opposite the Il Fortizza some 48 years ago! I worked on a ship that had come into Malta Dry Dock . Great times in Malta. Met a lovely Polish girl whilst I was there! She was living in Libya. Nice memories!

I spent a day in St. Julian's at the end of my 4 week stay. That was nice. But I tell you I will never go back.First of May I was in hospital with the worst nurses in Gozo I have ever encountered. Never again. My relatives can come here. Leave Malta if you are visiting and become ill.
