    Why why not attach the safety flag out line before hooking up the chicken loop?

      Yes, great point! That is generally best practice but I personally prefer securing the chicken loop first as I find that the safety line gets in the way when securing the chicken loop if it is connected first.

      @kempie23 Hi, great question! This is called a 'self-launch' and is dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. I have a future video planned to explain this but for the moment, I'd only recommend launching the kite yourself once you have some experience under your belt. Hope that helps!
