The fight between two or more of your most favorite martial arts action stars that you always wish you could see throwdown on the big screen. Whether it’s Chuck Norris taking on Bruce Lee in ‘Return of the Dragon’ or Jet Li and Mark Dacascos throwing down in ‘Cradle to the Grave’, there’s always that clash of titans that you always wanted to see, and thanks to director Jesse V. Johnson that’s exactly what you did see in the epic action ensemble ‘Triple Threat’. The film is a collection of some of the most prolific and high profile stars in the genre which includes Tony Jaa and Scott Adkins. I've trained Taekwondo cause I started after watching Van Damme but Muai Thai is also one of the best. Training style just so different it's hard to compare. But most of the time these different fighting styles is... Just WOW! Coool! 🤩

Tony jaa is a master in muay tai and it is a very strong martial art against teakwondo because of leg kicks and teakwondo has a weakness to leg kicks and jaa knows how to use it perfectly so I'm with Tony on this one
Knees and elbows are devastating. Muay Tai is a very effective combative MA. Adkins is an incredible athlete but too many of his movies have sped up action whereas Jaa’s films don’t have that . He might seem slower but that’s because he’s moving in real-time not enhanced film tricks.

This is a tough one. I love both the Ong Bak and Undisputed series. Tony is perhaps faster. But Scott is really quick for his size. Scott should be clearly stronger, and he has a longer reach. But Tony is fast and insanely unpredictable. But Scott has also shown great creativity and variation in the way he moves, and should also be hard to read. In the movies, Tony clearly has the lead on savagery. But then again, Scott has never played persons with that raw animalistic rage. But judging from his performance as Yuri Boika, i think he has it in him. There was a partly suppressed savagery there, that was unsettling. I am a Scott fan. But then I am a Tony fan also. In a fight between the two of them, i think it may come down to who could take the most punishment and keep going. And who fought the smartest. I honestly can't say who will win.

I like watching both fighters they fight absolutely 100% both are skilled full fighters with lots of fighting techniques which make me forget what lm doing and concentrate watching them .Great actors
It’s a mismatch if the fight would be in a cage with no holds bar. . But if the fight would be on the street with street fighting techniques then Tony Jaa has the upper hand.
We don't know for sure. Sometimes size isn't a factor at all as it is evident from some of the prominent UFC fighters. However in a hypothetical situation , any sane person will give an edge to size of course. It's hard to tell since both muai thai n kickboxing are practical form of combat sport . The conditioning of the fighters sometimes decides victory and in that case, muai thai fighters has insane level of conditioning so jaa might have an edge if the fight last longer. If incase the fight goes to the ground, though they both had judo training, Atkins would surely have an edge due to strength n size.

And speaking of speed and agility, Scott is a badass too. But in muai Thai, fighters are trained to make full use of the strongest bones of the human body, so if Tony could land a few hits with his knees or elbows, he could cause Scott some nasty injuries.

I used to spar with a guy 20 lbs heavier than me. I was faster and our skills were about the same. Out of 10 rounds if we were to do an actual fight, I would say he would win 10 of the rounds. My coach said for every 10 lbs you are less than an equivalent opponent you give up a belt level. My speed and endurance as hard as I train suffers when sustaining hits. This might not be absolutely true but it is mostly true. I'm not a pro or even a very good amateur but this is my humble experience.

Jesse-Jane McParland fight in her own weight classe but also again opponents in a higher weight classe and older ages. When she was age 7 she was a 5 times World Champion (3 times World Champion in Kickboxing and a black belt World Champion in Karate and Taekwondo.
At age 11 she won already over 300 Champion titles, witch are 51 as World Champion in a row of martial Arts Styles.
That she so many titles won was that she also fight in higher weight classe and age classe.

A body is a weapon ... if u dont know to use a weapon and u will just swing it chaoticaly the guy with more strenght would win instead of the guy who is more flexible and fast.
But if u know how to use that weapon and u are faster than your oponent who is as skilled as u and has more strenght instead.
U will have a huge advantage cuz u are faster. After all ... just one punch is enough to knock someone out.

Adrenaline rush also strenghtens your muscles ... So even if u are far thinner it doesnt necesarily mean u are lacking in strenght compared to your opponent.

I wouldn't necessarily say that Jaa would have the advantage in agility, just look at some of the kicks that Adkins is capable of. While Jaa would likely have a speed advantage, I wouldn't think it to be a massive difference. Strength wise, Adkins would definitely have the advantage there. I'd have to bet on Adkins if they actually went at it.

A street fight (no rules) would be Jaa's best shot to defeat Adkins given his size disadvantage. If Adkins didn't have any real skill or ability, his size wouldn't matter much.

You're not a fighter unless you fight.Don't confuse athletic actors with fighters. Examples of athletic actors would be Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, and Steven Seagal.

Taekwondo is a sport, not a martial art for starters. In a fight between someone trained only in Taekwondo and someone trained only in Muay Thai . . Well it wouldn't be a fight, it'd be a slaughter! The Muay Thai guy wouldn't even break a sweat.
