Dude, you've got a serious problem! A entire wall full of the same guitar? You are giving G.A.S. a whole new dimension!

Because of you, that exact model is still on my want list. Hope to be able to get it during 2023.
    Merry Christmas, Daniel.

    Hi,
As someone who's played acoustic/steelstrings for 20 years, but decided to step toe into the world of Electrical, I bought a Fusion 3 just last week. I must say that these advices are invaluable. I had an annoying buzz on my G string at 12th fret, and on my B string around 8th fret. Following your advices I came to the conclusion that the bridge and springs in the back were screwed too tight, so after spending 20minutes tweaking the notes now sound very clear! Thanks again for sharing your expertise. High fives all the way from Sweden

Hey, great to hear that! I hope, you enjoy these Fusions as much as I do! Cheers!😁

Dont see what the springs n screws have to do with buzzing on only 2 spots on the fretboard

    Small set-up advice:
    1) When changing string gauge, before tuning up block the bridge in horizontal position with a wedge (clothes pin) and tighten the claw screws.
Do all set-up work this way so the bridge doesn't move up or down. Once done, loosen the claw screws just enough to free the wedge. If needed, bring the guitar back to pitch also with the claw screws.
This saves all the back and forth hassle people complain about with floating bridges.
    2) When tightening up a truss rod it may be wise to help by also bending the neck at the same time so the strain does not all come from the rod. Do this when it gets hard to turn. This guy shows it here: ruclips.net/video/dL6kJ6iAGpg/видео.html

Sehr interessant!

I think the fusion 3 is great overall but I had bad luck with two models so I think I will pass on them. I ordered the roasted maple, first one had the pickup slots a bit tilted (wrongly cut by the CNC probably). Second one is ok but the wood grain has some really ugly spots on the fretboard and the color is really uneven so I will also probably return. It is a pity though because I really liked the feel of the guitar. If I could get a decent one I would 100% keep.

That's sad to hear... Which colors did you buy? To me, somehow the red ones are of better quality than most of the other colors. 🤔

@@DanielKraemerMusic I tried the blue HSH version. I wanted to have the middle pickup to see if I could get decent strat sounds while also having the humbuckers and use it as a more all round guitar. The ebony version looks good too maybe I will give it a try at some point in the future again.

Great vid as usual. Bought one these and im really satisfied. One thing, that l cant seem to find anything on online for whatever reason, is upper fret buzz on the high E. Starting around the 12th fret and gets more prominent the higher i go. Intonation goes way of aswell. Action is above avarage so cant be that. Any idea?

    • @DanielKraemerMusic
      @DanielKraemerMusic  Год назад +1

If it's just the high E-string, maybe you can try to set the bridge on this side slightly higher, or maybe just the saddle of that string. I'd personally try to raise the whole bridge until the fret buzz disappears and compensate the high action (at least a little bit) using the trussrod (clockwise, so straighten the neck).
