The wheels are CRT-specific. They look the same as the competion package (in Europe), but they are much lighter. I live in Europe and one of my friends owns a CRT. These 19 inch wheels actually are as tall as 20 inch towards the inside, to accommodate the large front brakes. We found out while switching the wheels with Vossen wheels: only 20inch fits.

Buying this M3 for 300k is almost as stupid as buying a new Civic Type R for 50K with markup.
In Germany You can get the CRT for round 120k. The GTS is more expansive with round 220k
So they imported a 130k car (when new) then slapped on another 200k because, it's rare.

This should be worth around what an M4 GTS is worth considering its rare/collector's type car and and overall good looking track car. Its def not worth 300k just because its imported from Europe lol.

It's still an m3 with a tune and the only people able to afford to spend 300k on a car that sits in the garage most of its life most likely has better taste then an m3
Jonathan Zaremba it's not a tune bro. It's stroked to 4.4 litres. It is definitely way over priced but people with good taste wouldn't bad mouth the M3. It was a great car for its time and will be a classic. That engine won back to back performance engine of the year awards.
OverDrove I know you could buy this year E92 M3, and stroke it to 4.4 liters yourself, for way less $$ than this one listed. That being said, this is a special M3, and 100% tuned from the factory, so it should hold it value much better than if I took a regular one, and did the same things to it as this one. But it's definitely not worth $300k no matter if it's the only one on the planet. I would say it's around the $150-180k mark at best, only because it's rare, but it's not great.

Anyone can have many after market things done to any car for different prices and at different levels of quality. But when it's from the factory, it has a different value in terms of special-ness of it and consistency of the OEM feeling. Heck, the Dinan stroker kit makes almost an extra 100hp over this.
I've already said this car is way over priced. I think around $100k - $150k would make more sense. I would love to have one but I'll settle for my 2013 E92 M3. I think it's a special car. And many others do as well. It's the most rare special edition of the last NA and V8 M3. That alone would make it worth more. Just not a ridiculous $250k more than other E9x M's in the current market. It might be worth that much in a decade or two but who knows.

I own a 2011 E90 M3, and in my opinion the greatest bmw m3s ever made its going to be between the E46 and the E9x M3s hands down. So I'll pay 300k, won't be much different than any other 4-door m3 to the average person, sit in an uncomfortable bucket seat, have only .4 more liters than a regular M3, have only 1 air stock, have a silver color, doesn't have a carbon roof that should be standard and still get walked by a GTR? Adam Bornstein M3 is the only one in the US that can be driven blah blah, it doesn't have a story, it doesn't have tech thats truly unique, its just a slightly bigger engine, carbon fibre here and there, thats it. There could be a 1 of 1 camry that has carbon fibre everywhere, fact is, its still a damn camry.
I prefer these 4 door M3's over the Coupes. I'd rather a nice low mileage 4 door M3 on 18" wheels than this one. It looks tacky with the red bits. Thanks for the video, I didn't realise this special edition existed.

This particular car was originally delivered to Italy, and left the production line September 14 2011. Worth $300k? A few have sold in Europe in the last couple of years for $120k - $150k, so $150k+ for shipping & registration? I'm not convinced.
Skip there are only 2 of them in US, but You still can buy a supercars with half that price like R8 for example

If you import a pretty new, but slighty used M3 from Germany or Austria, it will cost you less than 130000$.

That's stupid. Just cuz a fanboy spent $300,000 to get this car into America, doesn't mean it's worth $300k. The first Civic type R auctioned out for over a million dollars. Doesn't make that specific car worth a million.

My M3 is worth $500,000, so that's not the most expensive. Mine is the ONLY of its kind in the world. Well I did not pay 500 for it, and nobody have offered 500, but I still can claim it to be a 500 car ... and nobody can deny it.
if u sold everything individual it may be worth 300,000 but the car all together if your lucky may get bought for 140,000 and that's pushing it

2)Lightweight seats 75lbs, stock ones are 70lbs each.
3)Carbon wheels, OEM ones are about 22lbs each and some carbon ones are about 5k.

in Germany BMW's and Mercedes Benz's are cheaper military people that's stationed overseas buy and ship them to the states with American specs that cost less. So if they sell this car, what a profit!

What a massive waste of money for $300k. What would stop anyone else from buying one of these in Europe and importing it into the US to drive through show and display as well? It would be way cheaper than buying this car. Also if you have $300k to spend on a BMW M3 chances are you can afford to buy one at the real market price in Europe and keep it there to properly enjoy as you like not just 2,500 miles a year. One last thing....with the $300k price tag this has to be just a publicity stunt by the dealer which is working out for them.

There is a rear middle seat in the reg e90 M3... you are def not an M guy. E90 M3 never came cf roof unless it's crt. You either got slick top or sunroof FYI. E92 came cf roof or sunroof.

Replacing all with carbon but keeping the interior beats the purpose. I guess it's 250.000 dollar for an estimated 8 horsepower increase (due to weight gain). Considered buying a BMW 1 ? It's 600 pounds lighter. From factory.
silly price for a 150lb weight reduction. you could put in high end carbon seats, hood, trunk lid and a supercharger for a tenth of that cost and have a great car. Plus it doesn't even show that much better beside a stock m3. Good luck on any value appreciation for this car.
