Gateway is now ghost stamping the backs with the companies own branding.

The nose bead gives more low speed stability I believe

Definitely need to do a zone challenge with the glow tempo and area51. Been awhile since we’ve seen Tony too

The MVP Disc looks very similar to an Apex Swirl Mint Phoenix, I know they are also made by MVP and it has similar flight numbers.

Instantly thought that Pharoah was from Thought Space with the stamp. That's dope.

I know AGL put a nose bead on their Locust last year and released it as a “Locust X”, more overstable, in my experience.

So to my laymens understanding, the Nose bead effectively makes the disc act as if the parting line is lower at higher speeds, essentially adding to the top flight plate of the disc, where as your traditional bead adds a profile to the inside lower edge, which adds to stability stemming from the bottom half of the discs profile.
Seems the outer bead is almost like an added fin forcing more air over the top of the disc at higher speeds, I'm very curious to see how these break in with relation to the bead getting worn down, as I imagine that this disc without that bead would feel more stable, but that would take a lot of time and inherently introduce a lot more other wear forces on the disc that would lend to understability.
Would love to see someone precisely cut/sand the outer bead off of a brand new racer and throw it side by side with an unmolested one.
Take everything I say with a grain of salt though, as I don't have a masters degree in fluid dynamics and instead I make and install cabinetry for a living.
Also If you haven't already, there are many beautiful courses in Northern California especially around Lake Tahoe I think you'd enjoy if you ever find yourself nearby. Thanks as always for the videos.

The nose bead helps the disc have a beaded nose on the rim

I have a c blend pharaoh and for me it’s beefy 😂 I use it for forehand shots only. Backhand I might only get 260ft out of it. Forehand I can get it 325.

Looks like the same company that makes TSA’s baseline putters. Similar raised tooling on the bottom

It's probably dependent on how your USDGC qualifier round goes but are you planning on staying in town for the weekend to watch the USDGC? I've got tickets for Sat/Sun and it would be cool to meet you at some point.

I'm flying back home no matter what that Monday, if I get in, I'll fly back in later in the week for the tournament so my family can all travel together

That driver is an Omen for sure. I have a Nebula Ethereal that is identical with that slight dome, whereas my Ethos Omen is board flat and Splice level OS.

Ill have to try that pharoah. I have a metal flake glow pharoah and it feels great. A bit more stable than my beat in halo s blend
