- Stuart the Chihuahua was born prematurely. Due to this, he was incredibly tiny and had a hard time developing his motor skills. At first, he couldn't even play with a toy, but then his foster mom decided to give him a very special stuffed animal. Watch as he finally learns how to be a puppy!

This is why I could never be a foster dad . There's no way I would ever give him away after going thru all that with him . Hed be my boy forever !
Just before she handed him over to adoptive mom, Stuart reached towards foster mom’s bosom for protection ... that killed me. I would have kept him, no doubt!
I rescued a little kitten in the woods last year around this time, I thought she was injured because she was obviously struggling to walk and get around. I chased her down, rushed her to a vet and was told she was perfectly healthy except for a neurological disorder that only affects coordination/walking. I had to give her little butt baths because she couldn’t (still can’t) stand while pooping and as a kitten her wet poops got everywhere all over her. She actually would cry and cry until I came into the bathroom I was keeping her in to help her stand and poop, now she meows and meows and tells the whole house when she has to poop and only goes if I’m in the room with her (drama Queen). There’s no way I could’ve given her away, nor do I think I could accurately explain the extra dedication that you need to take care of her. I LOVE LUNA, she is an absolute angel and I wouldn’t trade her in a heartbeat for a “normal” cat.

Same here. I think it would be nice with these Dodo videos if they had a second part in the video that showed how the animals were doing in their forever homes. I think it would soften the 'I helped them live and now I gave them away to someone else' feeling.

What a cutie pie. It must be so hard to let go of an animal that you have fostered w/a life threatening situation. They truly have big loving hearts knowing they will not see this animal grow up. I know I probably wouldn't be able to let them go after going through all of that with them. Selfish I know, but at least I would give the animal a loving home. It's why I have yet to foster. I know I'd be a fail at it lol

Thank you to the foster mom for being so loving. You did one of the hardest things I could imagine. I just got a new pup and I’m so attached to her already. I hope that one day, I too can help all abused dogs.
One day, my dream is to start a sanctuary, try to rehabilitate the dogs, then train them to become PTSD dogs for our brave veteran’s.
I trained my first dog, Awesome to become a diabetic alert dog for me. He and I have such a special & strong bond.
My new pup, Epic also has a special bond with me.

Last year my sister decided to start fostering a little dog, after 2 weeks she decided to adopt, she fell in love with him. A month ago he got sick and they tried everything, took him to different Dr, they tried everything, today they had to let him go, we live in different countries and is hard not been able to be with her right now, she said he was waiting for her, I think he wanted to fight but in the end his little body couldn't go on. She is so heartbroken, he used to follow her everywhere and her husband used to joke that she pampered him to much, they didn't know how to tell my nephew that little Shadow is an Angel now. They said that they didn't rescue him, that it was him that rescue them. RIP little Shadow😭🥺❤️💔, we love you and we will always remember you. Watching this video right now make me smiled for the first time today...

This reminds me of my little pup, he was stuck at birth, and completely cold and still when he got out. But they kept trying to bring him back and were starting to give up, when he started to move.
They thought he wasn’t going to make it, he was deformed in the back.
Now he is four years old, and currently in bed with me, and his name is Levi.
Even as a puppy, his eyes are so smart.
