Seems like they realease blasters in pairs with a new color every year. Omnia and Outlaw, Nexus Pro X + Aeon Pro X (only in the US was it requested to be Orange), Stryker MK2 and Venom Pro
As a big fan of the original Stryker's design language, they did a great job taking the Tomcat's performance (and most popular community mods) with some of the Stryker's design, most notably in the front-end diagonal slits. The optic is less intrusive, but still reads the same, in context, and the detail across the whole thing is the best kind of nerdy. Sure, it's another pump-action high performance Dart Zone blaster, but each revision does something a little bit different in style, attachments, etc. If I was in the market for a slam-fire primary, this would for-sure be on my radar, given my ergonomic preferences.
About six months ago I was corresponding with Dart Zone (who are phenomenal for taking the time to talk with a nobody foam flinger like me) and we discussed the Max Dictator and the modifications I made to mine (removing unnecessary plastic to load magazines from the side, allowing the blaster to remain shouldered during mag swaps). I was asking about internal parts i wasn't confident would function correctly if modified. Anywho, during the conversation, the rep told me they were in the process of "reevaluating older blasters" and that what I was doing with my dictator was already being bouncing around. And here we are months later with a brand new Nexus and Stryker! So perhaps that means a new conquest or dictator could be right around the corner!
Just saw on reddit, ran to youtube hoping to see it in action!! Glad i didnt get a nexus x yet, probably identical internals and performance, but a tomcat hybrid!
@themorrigan1312 the fact that we got an AEG that looks almost exactly like an MP-40 instead of a Thompson is such a shame. :( I want an excuse to dress like a mobster, dang it!
Wonderful video as always Cap! Love the color! Any idea if it can use the original tomcat drum? If so it’s an instant buy for me due to all that versatility
looks cool! though gonna be honest, I do like the nexus pro x a bit more. drums are cool but I prefer reg mags, and it might be just the skinny pusher that makes me prefer it. also I do like the purple better than green ngl
@CaptainXavier OHHHH I never thought about that, seems so obvious, I apologize for sounding like an ass. But I'm glad, I was waiting to see what they were cooking up for the Stryker 2 before getting a nexus, not disappointed. The Stryker was what got me into pro blasters!
@jakev1341 ...it does have a skinny pusher. Who told you it didn't? You have to prime it to swap between the drum and the mag adapter but not to remove a mag. It does not, however, come with a BCAR. Only a PCAR. It is compatible with the BCAR that DZ sells.
@@muellmanni1678 yeah, I see that, I think it's a combination of how the plastic looks, specially in the adapter, and the stickers that makes it look cheap to me
Well, Nerf did reveal its Pro blasters. Not necessarily dead, And I hope the Nerf *Pro* blasters do well, because then other companies will see that even Nerf joined the Pro blaster bandwagon and they'll also start making Pro blasters as well. And we the consumers end up winning.
@@captsomeguy1 Competition breeds greatness. Price is going to determine the future of the Nerf Pro line. That's what killed the Stryfe X, in my opinion. I can put up with a lot of issues if the price is right.
@@100Servings Well, according to Blasterhub, the pump-action is $30. So, $5 more than the Aeon Pro. Not bad. And the semi-auto flywheeler is $50. Uses 8 AA batteries, not included. Dunno if it can use Lipo like the DZ MK3. I don't Nerf enough to justify investing in Lipo and hate how they degrade even when not in use, so I might buy it, but I totally can see other people wishing it came with Lipo.
Why aren't skinny pushers standard yet??? I mean like okay worker standard yeah, shouldn't have to be a mod, or have to get a harrier to have it standard. Then again, I'd be bored if there was nothing to mod.

I'm so glad the Stryker Mk-2 is a completely different blaster than the Nexus X. So cool.
Considering the Stryker was almost a Nexus, this is a nice departure!
Oh that is awesome! And the Venom too!
With a bit of down tuning, this is the ultimate modular light infantry primary, i adore this

I prefer the aesthetics of the Mk1, but love the color. Nice that it can do mags, cause i dont like drums. But I dig it! looking forward.

Drum/mag swap? Now that is a new gimmick. Very cool!
Not really that new for a gimmick because the hobby community created an adapter for the Dart Zone Tomcat to take mags a long time ago.
Cool. Its a Tomcat on steroids.
Nah its a downgrade from the tomcat IMO
@@pootispickle4482 Lower capacity TomCat but it comes with a mag adapter and the new BCAR/SCAR... so it's kinda a sidegrade?
Wait a second! Are you sure?! Are you really sure you're still Captain Xavier?
Oh my lord, this looks badass!
I thought it was going to be a vilinator reskin, but that fack that it takes mags is supa cool
Love the Color
That's amazing
I am a bit curious as to how well you can swap the magazine without swapping the mag adapter as well.
It works well. You have to prime it to remove the adapter. You don't have to prime it to remove mags.
Awesome!!
Nice
My gods, they just keep getting closer and closer to fulfilling that dream of a foam-flinging Thompson, huh? I'm here for it, tbh

I don't know for sure...but I doubt it.
Thx for the preview! Is that a BCAR or just a SCAR included?
Just a scar
Great video. Do you have to prime the blaster to swap mags? Or was that only to swap between the drum and mag adapter?
Only the swap drum/adapter. It does have a skinny pusher.
Always prefer drums over mags, that's awesome.
Wooooooooooooooo!
Hell yes
Is the white part a mag adapter or is it a specialized mag? Can you keep the adapter it and switch mags? Or is it one element?
It is a mag adapter.
I like what I see, but performance? What's it shoot like?
200 fps
Thats metal af

The Stryker 2.0 has a skinny pusher. You only have to prime it to swap the drum and the mag adaper.
@CaptainXavier oh! That makes more sense lol, thanks!
they done made a mini tomcat
I have a mighty need!
What is the drum capacity? Tomcat(like) with mags in green 💚 I like
25rd Drum.
that's cool
But does it use a skinny pusher? 👀
It obviously doesn’t use the same plunger rod combo that the nexus pro x uses…
It looks like the same colors as the Star Wars solo blaster carbine
Making my design life easier!
I want the venom pro
I wonder if it doesn’t have a skinny pusher or if you only have to pull the prime back to switch from mag to drum and drum to mag
He literally tried on camera to remove it and had to prime to swap 😂
It has a skinny pusher...but the pusher goes THRU the drum, so you have to prime it to remove the drum, but not mags.

So they looked what the comunity did with the Tomcat and now they sell It, also you can change it back easier. Pls make the review
I miss the red color, and I'm not a fan on the decals on the side, however it still looks interesting.
The decals are supper ugly. I wonder who approved that choice. Everyone I know talking about this dislikes the graphics.
The Tom cat and Nexus pro c had a baby.
Pretty much.
Denver Co? Nice to finally hear there's more nerf stuff happening in colorado
The should’ve just made a Tomcat 2.0. This was unnecessary. Also wish it came with a 40x dart capacity drum.
