Sir Good product. Yet have some drawbacks. We must hold more than one remote at a time. One for the MiTV (old 55), second for DTH and the third remote for Mi Box !!! How can I resolve it? 1).Why can't they add a menu/software in Mi Box to configure its Remote with Mi TV so as to avoid the TV remote? 2). Even the input selection of Mi TV can't be changed with the remote of Mi Box. (HDMI, AVI, USB etc). I have to use the TV remote to change the input from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2 or AVI. Remote of Mi Box has no role there. And if I want to change the TV channels, I must use the DTH remote !! They can simply overcome this drawback by a simple modification in the software of Mi box

My Sony TV is connected to Chromecast but it has its own limitations. We do not have cable connection but have Airtel’s Xstream WiFi. Can I use MI Box 4K in our bedroom to watch English and Malayalam news channels? Please also suggest a soundbar that is of good quality but not expensive. You are doing a good job. God bless.

You should definitely check that out. Also with mi box u'll get alot more apps that you can stream content from. Connecting and setting up the mi box also is fairly simple. I purchased from Mi. The item is "Made in China" and imported by Mi, Bangaluru. And I didn't get the Invoice for the item. Actually, I am supposed to get the Invoice along with the Mi Box 4K. I don't know why the Mi - Bangaluru didn't send.

Bro, Bought MI 4K box yesterday only. I face below weird issues in the box. 1) Onscreen keyboard doesn't works when i connect with mouse. 2) While playing netflix, i am unable to increase the sound from MI box remote itself, rather am using only the TV remote to reduce it. 3) While playing netflix, if i pause/ press back button and play it again, i am not getting sound. I need to go back to the home page of the netflix and search the movie and then only i am experiencing sound. 4) Last ques, I heard updating to the latest version will have issues ( sorry not sure what it is ). I found that jiocinema lacks its play properly on Amazon prime stick, how does it play on mi box 4k. Prime video app on MI TV Box is not as good as Fire Stick's app. You can not change audio during playtime. Seems like an old version of the app which is side loaded by Xiaomi for Indian Market.

I was able to connect MI smart speaker to MI box via bluetooth. But the voice is not coming out of MI smart speaker. My old boat bluetooth speaker works perfectly with MI box. Why is this happening. I found that jiocinema lacks its play properly on Amazon prime stick, how does it play on mi box 4k. I couldn't find any video showing the working of jiocinema, sunnxt, hotstar, zee5, chrome apps properly. These are the Basic apps if a person finds working of these basic apps then he will definitely buy and I am one of them. Btw very good presentation.

Can the MiBox 4k remote be used to operate( Turn on and off) the Mitv4 55'? This feature would be beneficial as there would be no need to use two remotes.
Is Chromecast working after new Update ( 673 MB ) , many users have complained Chromecast not working , also apart from Google Home are there any other apps for Screen mirroring , please let me know as it is important as I have to decide on Mi Box 4k.

In my led tv when I connect it with my laptop by hdmi cable and play video in 4k resolution the led allows me to play the video in 4k so in that case can I play video in 4k resolution in the same led by Mi 4k box ? Please reply 🙏🏻

Prime video app on MI TV Box is not as good as Fire Stick's app. You can not change audio during playtime. Seems like an old version of the app which is side loaded by Xiaomi for Indian Market.

Hi Bro. I purchased MI box 4k and MI smart speaker. There was a combo offer and my plan was to use MI smart speaker as a bluetooth speaker. I was able to connect MI smart speaker to MI box via bluetooth. But the voice is not coming out of MI smart speaker. My old boat bluetooth speaker works perfectly with MI box. Why is this happening. Can I use MI smart speaker as a bluetooth speaker with MI box?
