At 3:40 I am sorry to say but probably you don't understand what the bokeh effect really is. The phone got it RIGHT, not wrong. At origin it is an optical effect and in that respect, any time you take a photo and you focus on an object, the focal PLANE is locked there, therefore anything in front or behind the object will start to look more and more out of focus. In THIS case with the motorcycle shot, the bokeh effect was actually pretty well calculated, since the focal plane is situated on the FRONT of the bike, meanwhile the backseat, the luggage bin and the flag are much deeper behind relative to your camera lens position, so the phone actually did a pretty good job of estimating how a REAL bokeh effect would look. Also, if you shoot photos at night showing normal and night modes is fine but please, could you do some manual mode tests? Curious to see how such a big sensor fares in ultra low light when the phone is fixed on something (a bench, a tripod etc) and you take 2-4 seconds shots in manual mode.
The camera department looks good, with pixel binning and depth really good at first sight, without having the original photos to check out. The videos are completely sub par. I've seen another review about the camera, and the videos are really really bad. Hope they can fix the quality with software updates. At the price of 200€, if they fix the video quality, this could be a top mobile phone!

With the last updates the 64 megapixel camera got a lot worse! It used to take pictures at 64 megapixels and when you double it twice the zooming of the photo taken it was crystal clear! Now it is blurry and you can see the pixels. Also when you took a picture down in the left it said the xiaomi brand and also 64 megapixel quad camera now it is saying only AI quad camera no 64mp! Is eat a software issue and does anyone else confirm that?

Why does every mobile phone company giving just useless ultrawide lens instead of telephoto lens. The 2 megapixel depth sensor and processing image for blur the background is just garbage. Why the company cannot understand that telephoto lens give the natural blur to the image. Google Pixel 4 has telephoto lens instead of ultrawide lens. Could you make video upon the advantages of telephoto lens because from that video phone company will begin to add telephoto lens. Thank you.

Apparently GCam does work with Mediatek processors too. There's a video with a link to download the specific version and install instructions that works for this phone.

The cameras are really good considering the price . It can easily kill Samsung's mid range phones like Galaxy a30 / a50. And it starts at 199$ 🤯

The videos are completely sub par. I've seen another review about the camera, and the videos are really really bad. Hope they can fix the quality with software updates.
At the price of 200€, if they fix the video quality, this could be a top mobile phone!

Yes it is a true 64MP sensor. Can be bound down to 16MP for greater detail but it is 64MP RAW.
