The only shoe on your list of 5 I have is the Qiaodan Plaid which is fantastic but probably not my #1 race day option. Don't get me wrong it is a great shoe. In Australia, when buying through Aliexpress it worked out only a little cheaper than some other Western branded race day shoes when on sale. I'd still prefer to race in the Nike VF1,2 or 3 over it because I think the ZoomX midsole in combination with the plate set up is very slightly better but it's just my own preference. I'll have to check out the other shoes you mentioned in the future. I really appreciate you reviewing these 'value' shoes as the price of some shoes is far out of reach these days.
Thanks for wonderful contributions. I agree with you in a way, the lighter weight of the vaporfly is a nice advantage. However, I see where we differ. Here in Saudi the good western shoes cost an arm and a leg, sometimes we pay almost double the US/UK prices. But the Chinese shoes are not that much different, especially on sale periods. The prices of the western shoes here are crazy. The Alphafly 3 is 270 usd in the west but here in Saudi it comes on Nike middle East for 1700sar, approx 452usd. And you can't find them on other online stores. You see what's going on there. So what's happening to Chinese shoes there is probably what's happening to Western shoes here. Thanks for your insights.
Have used any of these shoes? what do you think of my list?
Recently bought my adistar 3 , it was on a massive sale for 65 dollars . Keen on trying them on
Have you run in them yet? How are you enjoying them?
