Hi, with that size, I think you should double ribbon while crocheting to have the same texture effect as mine 😉 if not, the stitch may look quite loose and small. In that case you can downsize your hook. Anyway just play around with a small sample first to see what you like the most 😉

Hi, I use stitch marker to distinguish working row and next row for beginners. It's not too necessary if you are familiar with crocheting.
You could replace them with bobby pins or safety pins
