Hi dear, I recommend using cotton yarn. You can buy yarn at your local yarn stores, amazon or even on ecommerce platforms at your country. Or just show the seller this picture and ask them which yarn you should buy 😎

For the yarn thinkness, read the yarn label, it will show you the suitable crochet hook to use. For yarn buying at local stores with no label, measure the yarn thickness, for example 2mm, then double the yarn size, you will have the crochet hook size, which is 4mm hook. Cotton yarn can come in a variety of sizes. Please read the description for my yarn information 😎

Hi, did you tighten the magic ring at the armhole? If you already did, you should check whether you made any excess stitches near magic ring at row 1-2 ☺️

Also if you used recommended hook for your yarn type, I think it shouldn’t be problem of the yarn.

@@CrochetWithHannah everything was followed according to your instructions.. 🙂I dont understand what happened.. I think the problem is with the hook.. I used size 3 hook for this 100% acrylic yarn..although its allowed, i used it to reduce the size of the holes between the clusters 😭 anyway thank you for your kind reply

Hi dear, the basic difference you can see is at the beginning and the end of row 3, there is 1 DC stitch to the Ch3, while at the beginning and the end of row 4, there is a cluster of 3DC.

And for the single stitch row around the border, I think you are mentioning about the green single stitch row. If that is, please watch at 21:06 for the sleeve, and 40:06 for the top border 😉

Yes you can totally use chunky yarn. However I usually put heavy stuff in bag, it stretches down the bag and looses its original form. So I tried ways to make the bag more solid 😎

So glad that you found an easier way for your problem. I will try to make easier instruction for next tutorials 😉

Hi! You can by making foundation chains at the length you want (remember the yarn may be stretching a bit longer). Then crochet normally until you reach the desired length for the sleeve. After that you need to crochet separately front and back panel as what I did at 34:28
