Thank you Thank you Thank you! I have been wanting to see what Everlane would look like on someone around my size, and you've done just that! Wonderful video, always so chill, keep up the good work x
Such a perfect collab! Have admired Everlane for years but it's a bit out of budget & impractical for me. I do love their stuff, & I love the way you spoke about the things.
Yay, love everlane! Have you heard of fabric for freedom? They're a UK based company who do sustainable clothing but they also make sure their clothes and accessories are ethical from a human point of view too so the pay is fair etc cos some sustainable clothes are still made in sweatshops x
Your high waisted wide leg jeans will give/stretch quite a bit with wear just so you know. I own them in the shade ochre and wear them multiple times a week. Everything you picked up is SO CUTE!
Really interesting video and great information Alix! I am glad you got a chance to try Everlane and was really interested to hear what you thought about it.
I like the idea behind this video but I would have preferred a video style that's *talk about piece* *tries on piece* not *talks about every piece then tries on all pieces afterwards*, would have been a little easier to watch. You look good in everything.
you all probably dont give a shit but does anyone know a trick to get back into an instagram account? I somehow forgot the login password. I would appreciate any help you can give me!
I'm not going to give you a hard time for Everlane, because I am super appreciative of you trying to be more sustainable which is awesome! But Everlane is not transparent enough to be properly labeled as sustainable. I could copy + paste some google information on them, but it's kinda well-known behind the scenes that they aren't as ethical as they advertise. I recommend Good on You, which goes through every aspect of sustainability of brands, and properly labels them as sustainable or not. I do not consider Everlane a sustainable brand.
i had someone in my office that was a die hard everlane customer because of how sustainable it was... i told her it didn't take much to see that everlane was using "sustainable fashion" as a marketing tactic and she kept telling me "but look at how their clothes come in recycled material!!"... i was SO DISAPPOINTED that this makes people think they are sustainable and ethical
I love the idea of everlane but every time I order stuff from them I find that the tops are quite boxy and the bottoms are meant for more straight figured woman. And if I can fit in my hips and thighs then the waist is very loose. It’s such a shame because I love how ethical they are.
They have very few pieces that are organic cotton. That is why I will not purchase any cotton item from them. And so far nothing from them. I am SO frustrated with RUclipsrs who are jumping on the Everlane bandwagon ( still promoting a very unsustainable mentality). As their cotton is not organic. We as consumers can only assume it is GMO grown cotton which is horrible for the environment/ planet and is in NO WAY sustainable! Daria Andronescu from Wonder wardrobe is almost the only RUclipsr who really knows what is truly sustainable. She has a great series on different fabrics and which are truly sustainable. And she explains a lot in her Q and A's. As well, all these RUclipsrs say they have 'basics'. In some ways I understand what they mean. However, when it comes to their pants and colors they are really following trends. They don't have any pants that aren't high/mid waisted ( what happened to low waisted? Some people like myself still need to wear low waisted as I am petite. And almost all of their pants are wide legged...trend. Etc. Etc.
Alix, I miss so much the time you used to write all the make up you were wearing in the description box... Am I alone ? Who wants ir back ? I know I do ! 😘
Everlane are no more sustainable than H&M! Their range is getting bigger and bigger year on year entirely defeating the idea they are a ‘minimalist’ brand. They don’t use organic cotton or other materials and their ‘ethical work conditions’ promise is vague and meaningless. Good on You rate them lower than many high street brands
As much I as I TOTALLY understand this criticism, I take anything rated by Good on You with a... healthy grain of salt. To rate Everlane lower than H&M? I mean, come on. Just think about it: 90% of H&M’s stock is cheap fast fashion, they don’t even try to hide it; big whoop, they have one Conscious range that makes up *maybe* 2% of their total stock lmao. While Everlane is by NO means perfect at all, and criticism of them is warranted given they’ve held themselves to a higher standard, to loop them in with-and below-an openly fast fashion brand that (to me) only uses sustainability as a marketing ploy, I think is ill-placed. Just a thought! I totally understand where you’re coming from though! 🖤✨
Loved seeing you incorporate Everlane into your wardrobe, they are one of my favorite brands! If you’re ever wanting to try ,ore things, I do a ton of Everlane reviews on my blog (including a full denim guide): truncationblog.com
Love your videos but I feel like the try on part of this particular video stressed me out a bit since you were moving around so much and I don't think I've ever noticed that on your other videos. x
kaztazable try People Tree! They have a bit more pattern and color as opposed to the more basic, minimal style of Everlane while still being a sustainable brand! www.peopletree.co.uk
I think you looks so good in the black linen blouse and white pants. Those white pants fit you perfectly
Thank you Thank you Thank you! I have been wanting to see what Everlane would look like on someone around my size, and you've done just that! Wonderful video, always so chill, keep up the good work x
The flats are awesome! I have two pairs and can’t get enough of them. The mini form bag is amazing too!
Congrats Alix, I'm glad Everlane enjoys your content as much as I do, white jeans, black shirt, black sandals big winner for me! You are beautiful!
love your colour palette "all the neutrals" & love your videos 😍
all the pieces that I see from Everlane simply shock and am very excited to see a sustainable brand with such incredible and usable pieces.
Love your style and this video was great inspiration!
Hello. Nice video. Do you find the day gloves suitable for all day wear? Do you find them breathable? Or they cause the feet to sweat a lot?
Yassss Everlane has so many cute things💕💕
ALSO recommend the wide leg crop with birkenstocks for a chill everyday look, but then with black booties to dress up
Such a perfect collab! Have admired Everlane for years but it's a bit out of budget & impractical for me. I do love their stuff, & I love the way you spoke about the things.
What is the colour of the form bag
Yay, love everlane! Have you heard of fabric for freedom? They're a UK based company who do sustainable clothing but they also make sure their clothes and accessories are ethical from a human point of view too so the pay is fair etc cos some sustainable clothes are still made in sweatshops x
highly recommend the "box cut" tees as opposed to the regular "cotton crew" for a better fit! i have so many in both my regular size and one size up.
i found the cotton crew too sheer/thin for me, is the material for the box cut tee thicker?
@@lifewitheugy i believe it's the same material. thicker than the air tee though!
i wish everlane would just open a store in the UK :(
Your high waisted wide leg jeans will give/stretch quite a bit with wear just so you know. I own them in the shade ochre and wear them multiple times a week. Everything you picked up is SO CUTE!
Good to know, thanks!
What color is the bag? Is it light khaki ?

@Rodrigo Benton instablaster ;)
Oh god it’s so refreshing seeing someone wearing the same size shoes as me 😭
Haha, size 7 club 🙌🏻
Yes, a US 10 is a size 14 Alix
Yup - brit living in the US - 10 is definitely a 14 UK or a large.

Cute picks from everlane, looks great on you! and thanks for listing the size and fit!
I love the idea of everlane but every time I order stuff from them I find that the tops are quite boxy and the bottoms are meant for more straight figured woman. And if I can fit in my hips and thighs then the waist is very loose. It’s such a shame because I love how ethical they are.
This was so good! Super helpful with the fabric and sizing insights 👍 Aren't the Air t-shirts so comfy?!
Love all the items you picked 😍 especially the bag!!! Is there a promotion code from you that we can use for purchase?
Yay! A video to watch whilst I fold laundry! Xx
What 's color ?
are they made out of biologic cotton? bcs i think cotton requires a lot of pesticides and water to be cultivated in certain areas
No not yet. They have a new t-shirt out made partially out of recycled cotton tho.
No they don’t.

*who else is OBSESSED with her style?* 💓💞
Xx a small youtuber💞💗
I think next time you should get the straight leg crop pants. I think you will love them!
Really interested if you are going to try Sézane clothing at some point?
Would really love to, yes!
@@icovetthee I do like your personal style. Feel like Sezane have that touch of femininity which flatters you😄
Alix, I miss so much the time you used to write all the make up you were wearing in the description box... Am I alone ? Who wants ir back ? I know I do ! 😘
A US 10 is a UK 14. :) maybe that is why it looks a bit bigger
Ahh I see, so many different sources with different sizing!
Great Everlane try on haul👏 Love these so much💜 Color palette rocks👍
🦋 Gracias 🇨🇺 🍮 ☕️
Try-ons start at 16:24
This video ended very abruptly, why not a round up of your favourite items, what you didn’t love as much, etc at the end??

I love your style 😍

H&M is even rated higher in the Good on You app than Everlane!

Psst, guys; both Everlane and H&M share a manufacturer. Their garments literally come from the same factory.
☺️🖤🖤

13:33 Monica? ♡ ;)
Whatever u wear looks pretty on u I would look like a potato sack in those clothes🙈🙈
You look great, but these Everlane things does not. Love your videos, thanks for sharing.
I love Alix, but God, Everlane clothes are boring af!!
As much as I loathe fast fashion, I can't stand these 'sustainable brands' because they are soooo bland. Everlane is one such example. All bland.
kaztazable try People Tree! They have a bit more pattern and color as opposed to the more basic, minimal style of Everlane while still being a sustainable brand!
www.peopletree.co.uk
Everlane isn’t sustainable! They are greenwashing. Use the app « Good On You » to see if brands are sustainable or not.
