Been loving your reading vlogs. Btw that big death you were talking about starting around 13 minutes in was briefly mentioned in The Priory of the Orange Tree actually, as a historical anecdote. I remembered it, so I was bracing myself the whole time. Glorian's and her family's history was also briefly mentioned in the glossary. So I was partially spoiled for this book lol.
This book broke me 🥲 I loved Priory so much but Fallen Night is top tier. I’ve read all of her books and Priory and Fallen Night are hands down her best work.
I haven't been able to buy a copy for myself yet, so instead I'm torturing myself watching lovely people like you post reading vlogs .-. I'm nervous and excited!
So, even if I find Priory of the Orange Tree a more satisfying read, the characters of this books are way WAY BETTER. I cried a fuck ton with this book. Maybe the McGuffin comet conclusion is kinda mid, BUT I WAS SO EMOTIONAL THE WHOLE FINAL BATTLE, I felt the desperation of the characters, fightning fdr a slim chance in the sky, Such SUCH good book.
As I’m watching, I’m on page 419 (the start of Chapter 50, a little chunk through book 3) and seeing the reactions from Joel for after that point is both exciting and worrying! 😅😂😢 Loved the video, has been one I’ve looked forward to for ages! Love seeing one of my fave booktubers making content about my most anticipated release of the year ❤
Thank you. I’m new to this fantasy reading so a day of fallen night is where I start. So I was confused as to the first 300 pages or so but thank you for explaining and clarifying what’s going on and helping me understand it better and I love the book better for it. Also I’ve never read orange tree so this will help as well!
Love your content and I always have trusted your recommendations. ;) Please tell me where you got your cloud mug from please? They are gorgeous and must have them. Thanks for your videos!
this book made me realize that ead and sab were destined to fall in love as tunuva and esbar did 500 years prior
LITERALLY I WAS LIKE OH MY GOD THEIR DESCRNDSNTS FELL IN LOVE I SCREAMED
@@fictionalfates ALSO WHAT IF THE PRIORY DISCOVERS SAB IS A DESCENDANT AND IS ABLE TO EAT FROM THE ORANGE TREE IN THE EVENTUAL SEQUEL

❤❤👍👍
Should I read priory first or a day of fallen night?
it's up to you tbh, priory has more political intrigue while adofn has more action and more characters
I still need to read Priory 🥲
Don’t be intimidated it’s so good!
