Yes great sound I have same bike with sp engineering exhaust sounds great pops and bangs I use same roads as you excellent video and good quality video camera. Thanks from danny
Great minds, and all that 😎 I appreciate the love, thank you. If I ever see you out there I’ll give you wave; if I catch you standing still I’ll say hello and we’ll compare notes.
@@ubergregmoto Nice one man! It's a nice place and lots of bikes this summer! Some truly special bikes too! If i see you there i'll be sure to say hello haha! Safe riding brother 👌
I use my big touring screen for winter commuting and long riding trips. It works really well, but for normal riding I like having no screen-the view is clean and the bike feels faster 😃
Thank you brother 👊🏽 I use the standard mic on my GoPro Hero 8, but I put it in a wind killer, which is made of foam. I also use a separate mic (in my case a Zoom H1) either in my backpack or under my seat to capture the rich engine sound. I then blend the audio and do a bit of tweaking in post production. Had a look at a few of your vids-some of those Czech roads are ✨👌🏽✨
I've used it in all conditions for a couple of months now and for me it's absolutely fine. After doing the swap I increased the brightness in the settings (but it's still not even close to the maximum).
Hi lad, nice video ! Just a question : the bike seems a bit "big" compared to S1000R / Tuono, how agile is it on small roads with alot of sharp turns ?
Thank you 👊🏽 The MT-10 is fun on very twisty roads, but it's still a 210kg bike so you really have to be in charge of it on corner entry or during quick direction changes. The new S1000R is lighter, and the Tuono is a bit more compact with god-tier suspension. The MT-10 is a great-handling bike-and so much fun to ride-but those other two bikes will be more agile.
@@ubergregmoto Hey lad ! Finally, decided to go for the 2022 MT10, seems good enough on twisty road and I don't need a track machine after all ! Ride safe.
@@uscopic4614 a big congrats to you, mate! It’s awesome on mountain roads. I’m currently riding through the Swiss alps on mine and it’s agile, stable and very, very quick out of corners. The 2022 will be even better ✨👌🏽✨ One thing I can recommend is to get the bike suspension set up for your weight-it’s quite soft as standard, and adjusting the settings really ‘focuses’ the chassis.
My MT-10 makes a noticeable ticking sound that comes from the engine's cam chain auto tensioner. It's a bit unsettling, but I've had mine from new (3 years/25k miles) and it's always made that noise. Without hearing your bike it's impossible to know if it's 'okay' or not. Best advice: rock up to your nearest Yamaha dealer and get them to have a quick listen.
Thank you sir! Yes mine's mapped-I sent the CPU over to Junction 33 Developments. To me, it's a must-have mod for an MT-10. I had a standard 10 as a courtesy bike recently and the fuelling and power delivery felt like utter trash compared to mine, I couldn't believe the difference...
I think the sound/engine is the best part of riding this bike. It has a more upright seating position than a Ducati Monster (previous generation model) BMW S1000R or Aprilia Tuono, so pretty comfortable during a long ride.

Wow, I got here so early, 4k wasn't even unlocked yet!😂 STILL! Nice sound from that beautiful bike👏
I appreciate it mate, thank you!
I recognise some of these roads! Do you ever visit rykas?
Only been to Rykas once (this past spring) but loved seeing some tasty bikes and hoping to go back before it gets cold again...

Plz install big wind screen it will look great an also give wind protection.

Great video and that sound! Can you tell me, which mic you got on GoPro? Or what set you got? Thanks a lot

@@ubergregmoto Thanks for the answer, i want to make new video but with better sound and on new MT10 :D
Somewhere are great roads )
What's up with the wind shield? Brand and model? Looks great
That’s a dealer option I ordered, that came with the bike. Search ‘MT10 fly screen’ on eBay, it comes as two separate parts that bolt on each side.
I see you did the collor swap on the dash, how visible is it? Is it much less than normal?

does your bike make a ticking sort of noise that gets louder when accelerating coz my mt10 sure does make a loud one

@@ubergregmoto How was the mpg after the mapping? same, worse, better?
@@victortanasa6186 It’s a tiny bit worse (maybe 5% at most. Definitely not enough to avoid going the upgrade, the benefits are so much more…
@@ubergregmoto understood, thank you :)
Sweet, hoping to get out tomorrow, 1st sunny sunday for 8 weeks
I hope your roads are dry and your skies are blue for tomorrow mate 👊🏽
@@ubergregmoto thanks bud, had a great day
Sounds like a parallel twin to me, not the inline 4 sound I like. Probably if I took a test ride it would win me over but still...
Definitely worth a test ride! The noise it makes is far more nuanced and complex in real life.
Thanks for keeping your speedo set at mph rather than kph 👍
Oh! I love those sound. How does it feel to ride? is it comfortable like a Ducati, BMW or an Aprilia
