@@CoasterBaras i prefer the front as I've found the sideways G's to be less intense so I don't get flung about quite so much!
Plus you get that view 👀
That's what's great about rollercoasters/rides, we all love different seats for different reasons, it is quite whippy and intense at the back!
If you ever land at Alton and see us penned at the front just shout and we'd switch with ya 😅🎢

Oh definitely, it's why you always need several rides to figure out what row/seat you prefer, as it can make a ride meh or amazing, although thankfully those extremes aren't as common! It all depends on what you want from a ride though!

Edit: okay this might explain why I don’t rate wickerman highly, I’ve had 2 rides in it across 2 visits and got front row both times haha. It never really did anything for it

Oh most definitely, the next time you're there, kindly ask the ride queue op inside if you can go near the back because you don't like the front. If it isn't a busy queue, they often will let you 7 times out of 10 in our experience. It's soooo much more intense at the back!
@@CoasterBaras yeah that might shoot it up my rankings a bit, right now I’ve got it at rank 33 out of 101 credits 😳 by comparison Smiler is 6th and the original Nemesis is 9th (haven’t been on reborn yet)
@@coastify Oh it definitely could help! At the front we feel bored and would almost not want to ride it, feels like a waste, but row 8 backwards, especially 12, is a different beast.
Near the end of the day helps as well as she really speeds up, and if it rains, even better 😅
You gotta try Reborn though, she's beautiful 😄🎢

I have never sat near the back of wicker man. I have been wanting a back row for years but keep getting the front or middle.
We feel the pain, especially if we get unlucky and get the front 😅
When you get to the front of the queue, it's best to nicely ask if you can go near the back rather than row 12 and they'll let you most of the time depending how busy the queue is, always worth asking! Back row is wild!
You can also try to count ahead as you're in the inner queue and then let a person or two past you 😄
For me I have really always went to the front but that is mainly because that is what you see everyone rushing for and single riders always aim for plus I do love me a thrill but I haven't been on any in years so hard thing to judge
